I also think Ari would be smarter - he really should know better and not have done anything until he had Malcom McDowell's money in his hands.
How about Hero? It was released in China in 2002, was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Picture in 2003 and wasn't released in the United States until 2004. Most regions already had the film on DVD for quite a while by the time it was released wide here. Granted, I don't think they were waiting for publicity, but it's proof that a good film can often sit on the shelves for a couple of years for no good reason.

And now about the ep: Really good last night. You can never go wrong with Ari in crisis mode. And I'm also looking forward to seeing more of Beverly D'Angelo. I've always had a lot of respect for her as an actress and am happy that she'll be showing up more here.

Maybe my fave line of the night: "I knew you liked dick, but I didn't know you were a cocksucker."

Yeah, enough with the "calling bullshit" on QB taking so long to be released. Plenty of indie movies, even those that win festivals, don't get released at all.

Okay - how about a Cameron film taking less than one year to go from pre-production to realease?

I would think Ari would want a titty fuck with Bev D'angelo instead of Carmen Elektra.

Thank goodness .... No E women crisis. Now if he could only get hit by Drama's SUV and die, that would help.

When is Joe Kernen going to announce the release of 'Queens Blvd'?

Hopefully on CNBC Squawk Box tomorrow.

Man, I so wish we had gotten to see more of that press conference ... and Ari and Shauna's reaction to it.

Miramax/Wienstien is still sitting on 'Feast', so 2 years is not unheard of.

Worst episode of the show so far.. The stuff with Drama just didn't entertain me and it felt like it was more Drama in the show that Vince/Ari/Eric

Is everything in the show scripted or are any of Ari's lines improvised? With some of the crazy stuff that comes out of his mouth it seems like he could be making it up as he goes.

While I loved the ep., I am getting kind of tired of seeing Vince screw himself and the boys moreso week after week. I wish he would just swallow his pride for once and do something that makes him some money. Then again, I guess the imposing threat of the dreamworld these guys live in crashing down around them at any moment is part of what this show is about.

Terrance stated that he would spend $50 million and several years making sure that Ari didn't get a dime.
