Call me crazy, but this is what I'd do to WU if I had control of the show: build an addition on Tom Brokaw's house to accomodate a stage and have him tape the segment, doing the funny news as straight as possible. I think it would kill. We got away from the whole "live" requirement last year, anyway. Surely Tom would be game to do that 20 times a year for a nice check.

ETA: If Tom turned me down, my next call would be to Dan Rather. Surely he's bored and crazy enough to take me up on it.

Nice, I always thought they were funny together when they did the British Entertainment news skit.

They should do the first WU with the faux accents, but they should play it straight like nothing is up with the way they're talking. They should never do it again, though.

I wish Forte would have gotten the axe... he's HORRIBLE. The falconer is the worst skit in the history of skits. Oh, and his Bush impersonation is just him in a grey wig talking like himself with a slight southern accent. Just terrible.

I like the Falconer. That Donald is one crazy mutha f**kin falcon, yo.

I don't agree with losing Parnell.

I want more Prince Show this year. Join me under the waterfall and climb the rainbow tree.

The reports (speculation) are that Sanz and Parnell had the highest salaries. (IMDB News)

If I were an executive and I found out that Sanz had the biggest paycheck, you'd better bet that I'd be slashing the SNL budget. There is just no call for that.

I also like Forte, and I have to say that while The Falconer is usually nothing special, it's gold compared to Carol or Debbie Downer.

Just how not funny would you have to be to get fired from the current generation of SNL TWICE! Poor Chris.

Well every Falconer I've seen, I've gotten some laughs. Contrast that with Debbie Downer, a skit that was just done--yet it was revisited time after time.

Not much to say about the cast axings. I pretty much agree...

You have to get past "Carol" to get to Debbie Downer. And that's one helluva roadblock.

I like Seth okay, I've seen him do improv at the UCB theater and he was pretty decent. I'd rather have someone else do it with him, or have him be alone (1 anchor worked for many years), and have Amy focus on sketches.

He's a real Stiffly Stifferson. I pranked him to death with a tire iron.

he is not funny at all....he loves to rap in his skits, and it's so unfunny. I will give him a shot as an anchor, though.
