I thought the pumpkin incident was pretty good too. Not quite as ballsy/stupid as the customers last season who ordered a pizza delivered to their table because they had been waiting so long. Ramsay just loved that if I remember it right.

I saw the first bit, but I fell asleep after they had to cut the steaks up into 10 oz portions.

Spoiler:
I saw that the girls won that one.

Anybody who can fill me in on what I missed?

Ramsay is so over-the-top in this show it's ridiculous. Fox must tell him to degrade, humiliate, and scream at the contestants whenever possible. He was nowhere near this bad to some of the characters he encountered on Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares. Also, I think the diners are encouraged to go up and talk to Ramsay if they have a problem. Wouldn't most other normal people just tell their waiter?

That being said, I loved last season and will contine watching all of this one.

Michael Wins Hell's Kitchen, Plans to Sell Chef's Knives
Michael, a 27-year-old executive chef from Fort Collins, Co is the winner of Hell's Kitchen ( Read a recap from TVSquad.com). After his win, Michael decided to go to London to work with Chef Gordon Ramsay. Did his plans change after the show? In a video interview posted on Fox.com, Micheal reveals that knives are in his immediate future. "Right now, because of being on Hell's Kitchen and what not, we're trying to start up a customized company. We're doing like nice sterling silver custom chef knives," he said.

And what about opening a restaurant? "I would love to open up a restaurant at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas," he says. "That's my plan. that's what I want to do. I don't see why I can't do it. I have all the resources."

Does he plan to keep in touch with Gordon Ramsay? "Having been with Gordon like this, I'll know him for the rest of my life," Michael said. "Whenever I start a restaurant, whatever I do, I am always going to call him and ask for his opinion. I am always going to hold on to my relationship with him."

Michael plans to open his restaurant in 2007.

This was my first time watching this show...were the people in the restaurant real or fake (customers)? Because I just can't understand why someone would wait 3 hours for a meal.

"Badass" only until either a diner or a contestant gets busy on his ass; but I'm sure he has a legion of bodyguards ready to pounce in the event someone tries something. What's needed is a person with half an ounce of wit to step up and put the knob in his place.
Does he actually think he's running an upscale joint with the "fucking this" and "fucking that"?

The swearing is part of the schtick. Think what you want about Ramsay, but he's the real deal. His restaurant in England is three star rated by Michelin.

My take is they are actors invited on the pretense that they might not get fed, and if you complain, you can get screen time.

The second show was not a rerun.

I'm watching it now.

The stockbroker wants to get in a street fight and kick Chef Ramsay's ass! Sadly he signed a paper saying he would not fight.

On the boat those girls should did pour on the flirting. "Hope to see you soon" "Too bad Chef can't rub this lotion on us."

Did the first show have bikini action too? I read about a hot bikini and saw what the talk was about in this episode.

These people have some trash mouths. Those girls really enjoy the F word. My sensibilities are being offended.

Trash talking is a bad strategy for pissing off the women. The claws really come out. HHHHIIIISSSSS.

Ya, I was referring to the first show, Fox.com said it was 2 hours of Hell's Kitchen, so I assumed that meant 2 hours of new stuff... silly me.

Man, i hate that stockbroker.

Wow, I hate everyone on this show. No one deserves to win. If I have to pick, it would be Rachel.

Pizza boy is having problems but he did get a nice nickname. "Donkey"

My favorite quote of the night was by Sara: "I might be an idiot as a person but I'm a damn good chef."

Next week looks good.

This show has to be some kind of sick joke. These people do not know how to cook. Big, bad Tom fancies himself as some kind of badass? He cried like a little bitch when he faked burning his hand. Tom's the one that's lucky that he cannot fight because Gordon would kick the shit out of him. BTW, Heather sure does think that she's in charge of the girls' team. Lots of friction developing between her and Sara(should be good).
