That was a thoroughly satisfying conclusion. Glad Heather won, and I really enjoyed the "3 months later" update at the end. Was great to see the environment Heather is working in and her new staff welcoming her into the fold. (Anyone else surprised that the new resturant actually incorporated the "graffiti" on the walls and the large monitors with her image that she suggested for HK?) She obviously got a much, much better gig out of the show than seasoin 1's Michael did.

Just wish someone would have kicked "K-Grease" out of the f'ing kitchen. What a sloppy, dim-witted a-hole that guy was.

I think that it is in this thread, but didn't Michael forego his restaurant in order to learn under Ramsay in Britain?

I'm surprised we didn't get a close up of Virginia at the opening of the restaurant, since I saw her there in the background.

Whose picture was Heather kissing on the nightstand? Anyone know? She seems extremely close to the blond one, even picking her first for her team. I really think that there is something going on between those two.

And no Mirabel? Not that I am complaining, but she did make it further than some of the other chefs they brought back.

You think! I was half expecting them to go muffdiving right in the middle of Hell's Kitchen.

And no Mirabel?

I also wanted to see Larry the fishmonger. I guess that he was still in Intensive Care.

Am I the only one who couldn't stand Heather's personality?

I liked Heather. She seemed pretty cool to me in those diary room like talks with the camera.

Heather = East Coast Brash and Aggressiveness
Virginia = Annoying West Coast sweetness and pie in the sky naiveté

Virginia's whole "I'm picking losers to prove a point" nonsense is what lost her the gig.

I did. Especially when Rachel came back.

If I had to see Heather cry again - I was going to slit my wrists... (but now we know where she got it form - her parents were a bunch of wet eyes, too).

And if I had to see Virginia say "fricking" one more time, same as above. She cried alot, too.

Jesus - I don't think I would want to eat in any of these people's restaurants. They're all douche bags. I can't believe that a top prize of managing your own million dollar restaurant in Vegas wouldn't attract more talent. But I guess a bunch of idiots makes for better TV.

That's the thing about this show - without actually tasting their dishes, we have no idea how talented they are. Of course there are going to be harsh critiques and customers sending back food....without that, there is no show.

They should have switched the prizes around between "Top Chef" and "Hell's Kitchen...". There were at least 3 or 4 of the Top Chef finalists that I could see as XC of a big resort restaurant...especially Harold.

Heather would have lost in week 1 of Top Chef.

As in: what do Virginia and medium-rare Lamb Wellington have in common?

The thing I hated the most was she had 2 facial expressions.

1) Sad, crying
2) Shocked, eyes bugging out

Those are the only 2 looks she ever had on her face. I am glad the show is over just so I don't have to fricking see her cry anymore!

I've been there. It's off the strip in Summerlin-way further from the strip than most tourists go-and it's actually very nice.
