Second after Cordie is Wesley. Both evolved and became more complex (and tragic) over time.
I'll put a vote in for Riley too.
Worst, Dawn and Connor.

I went with Xander. The guy dealt with a ton of shit in the series. His character progressed slowly but over the course of the series he really went from being a helpless dork to a relentless fighter. Some of the stuff they did to his character shocked me more than I can even express. I still can't bring myself to re-watch the final few episodes of the series.

I went with "other" since there wasn't an Anya option. I really liked a lot of the characters, but there is something about Anya that was just great. She was beautiful, funny, and just a damn good character.

I'm all about Faith and Willow.
And they would've made a cute couple in season seven:
FAITH: "Well, you know, spend three years in a maximum security women's facility and you find about new things."
WILLOW: "And believe me, she did learn a lot of things."
XANDER: "I'll be in my bunk."

Anya was mine, but I voted for Cordy since no option. What was so wild about that show was how there were characters I couldn't stand then grew to love and characters I loved that I later hated. Some folks resented that, but I looked at it as a natural progression.

I decided to throw Xander a vote. To me, Wesley didn't qualify as he bled over to Angel too much. Spike, Drusilla, Fred, Gunn, Lorne too. Cordy, too, I guess....
No Buffy? or Angel?
Of all the characters, I would've gone with Angel I think. Wesley #2.
I dunno. I'm a mess.

'Buffyverse' means both series as a whole. If "Firefly" were a part of this poll, it would be called 'Whedonverse' since they're all Joss Whedon - created shows.
