Just about everyone last night was so fucking hacky. I mean a joke about the Irish being alcoholics? That red head having a joke about needing to use pliers to put her jeans on? It was atrocious last night. There is a difference between making jokes about something like being fat (which obviously has been done before) and making ORIGINAL jokes about being fat. I'm watching the rest of the season more out of the macabre.

I couldn't believe Theo Von didn't make it. The eggs and milk thing was great! Joe Rogan said it best (trying to quote from memory): "It's one thing to be funny, but it's those moments that make other comics wish they thought of it first."
Whores with customer service experience are cookie cutter jokes I'd expect to have heard back when monster.com was launched. And why is Tess back for another season? That joke was no better than the 90210 reference from the guy who was cut.
Chris Porter is good, he'll be able to challenge Gabriel Iglesias. The absence of Dat Phan is the funniest thing on the show.

Roz doesn't have jokes... she has problems.

The angry screechy black woman-harpy schtick gets real old real fast. Cannot. Stand. Her.
I like that one big dude who didn't make it. The furry one. I also like the weird looking love child of mini-me and christian slater, though his three minute routine was bland. He seemed funny in the premiere.
The problem with three minute routines is a lot of comics need more than that to set up a good joke.
I would have loved to see the albino black dude. That guy is a freakin' riot. I just wish I could remember his name. Wears coke bottle glasses.

I was hoping to hear more, especially if he was going to be un-PC.

I've been thinking about this, and besides Josh Blue, none of the other comics were funny enough to go on...at all...I've UNTIvoed it from my lineup. If I wanted to watch good "house" drama, I would watch Real World. I feel bad for those comics who knew they had really good sets, and saw the unfunny people get picked.
100 to 1 the girl with the lisp makes it to.

Josh Blue is one joke comic. Yes, you have palsey and you have done a wonderful job of overcoming challenges and giving us insight into your life. That does not make you a good comic.
As for Roz, she may be the current incarnation of a stereotype, but her timing is on the money. Her jokes are recycled, but still good fodder for TV standup.
This show isn't about Dane Cooks or Mitch Hedberg (RIP), its about formulaic fast paced recycled jokes. What Britney Spears is to the music world is what the LCS is to the Comedy world ... pablum. Unusual people with forgetable, but imediate punchlines.
Comedian Anthony Clark is an oxymoron. The judges are game show celebrities at best. Then there is the house aspect. Choosing the right fit for what they percieve the house should have. Everything about LCS is contrived and manipulated.
.... of course I will continue to watch it.

I disagreed with two of the picks.
Nikki Graser should have made it instead of The Kathy Griffin clone
&
Wild Willy Parsons should have made it instead of Chris Porter who to me seems like a Harland Williams ripoff.
