I'm not sure I'm up for this. I haven't been training and I don't have the right shoes.

Hardly a marathon to just run around the Office...

But on a serious note.

I was hoping they'd show the one episode I missed, which everyone thinks was one of the season's best, "The Boat Cruise"

I completley missed the fact that "Vance Refrigeration" is located on the same floor as Dunder-Mifflin.

Did anyone else's affiliate show half of tonights Office in hd and the other half in sd with bars on the side and top and bottom? For some reason, a lot of reruns get shown in sd for my chicago affiliate. Asses!!!!

At least you got half of the marathon in HD--here in OKC, all four episodes were broadcast in SD. But, the NBC affiliate here sucks balls about showing stuff in HD anyway. It's a total crapshoot from night to night. Of course, the only nights I ever tune in (Thursdays--for Earl and the Office), they usually forget to flip the switch, so I should be used to it by now.

I just noticed that too. You catch so many things when rewatching the shows after the season. This was a great season of TV.

I noticed B. J. Novak has an exeutive producer credit this season. He's got a pretty impressive resume for someone who's only 26 years old. He written, produced & acted in the show, I'd like to see him direct an episode next season.

I was wondering about the HD shows as well. All four episodes were supposed to be in HD, but I know that the first one wasn't (I taped the others). I just got HD, so I was psyched to watch this in HD, but I was very disappointed.

My local affiliate didn't flip the switch until half-way through the last episode. They just don't care when they are airing repeats.

There was also a reference to Chili's in the season finale. That "disabled" dude met his girlfriend there.

I only watched the first two episodes after I got home last night. The first was SD almost the whole way through until someone threw the switch. The next episode was HD the whole way.

That's the first time I've seen that happen with the NBC signal this year. I've seen it flip out of HD for a second or two, but never an entire show.

Michael also gave the guy he fired a Chili's gift certificate.

Michael just really likes Chili's...

Edit: Great article, thanks for posting!

I oddly enough had these saved to watch last night, performance review I liked esp when Stan was talking to him and he asked him did he learn that on the street.

And stan says yes. Actually in the ghetto!

Stanley says he learned it "on" the ghetto.

And Michael says that Chili's is the new golf course, Chili's is where deals get made.

Just watched Season 1 on DVD and am trying to catch up by watching all the repeats this summer...Having 4 on at one time is a great bonus.

Does anyone know which show is the finale? and does it matter to go in order for season 2?

Loving this show, and the writing and the deadpan humor. Season 1's basketball game was sooo funny!

magiccmom - I'd watch S2 in order if possible just because of a couple of side-stories that would be easier to follow.

The finale is Casino Night. It was the extended 40 minute episode. I wonder what scenes will get cut if the show goes into syndication.

It helps to go in order for season 2 but not as important as with other series.
