That caused me to pause my Tivo I was laughing so hard....
I also loved the scenes with Dwigt trying to figure out how Jim did his mind trick and then trying to do it on his own on his bobble head.
I agree with everyone else here....best TV Comedy Season ever. Nothing is even close for me.

But if you mean are the overall storylines the same, then yes (...for the most part) - there are a lot of similar overall story arcs and each main character on the U.S. series has a similar counterpart on the U.K. series. However, where the actors take the characters is a bit different because the actors playing them are not alike in most cases. And how the similar overall story arcs develop in the two series are completely different in every case.

I think I need one for my desk.
Yes Office fans, after overwhelming demand the bobblehead is finally here! The infamous Dwight Schrute bobblehead made its debut appearance on the Valentine’s Day episode of “The Office”. Upon finding Angela’s gift on his desk (a bobblehead made in his likeness) he exclaimed, “It's me! I'm the bobblehead! Yes!” Her gift really “rocked the house.”
Now you can have your own Dwight Schrute bobblehead on your desk to console you during the workday doldrums. You can also rock the house of any other Dunder Mifflinites by giving them this gift of Dwight. This bobblehead is exclusive to the NBC Universal Store

Jim following her into the office was a smooth move, because he forced her hand in this (...carrying forward a whole casino "card" analogy).
I think Jim finally confessed his love because he wanted an answer so he would know whether to move forward on transferring to another office. If she rebuffed him and went forward on her marriage, then he would definitely transfer. But if she responded favorable, and either postponed or cancelled her marriage, then he would stay. (However, I don't think she will dump Roy and start dating Jim to start next season - I think she'll still be with Roy, but with the marriage on-hold.)

One of the best finales I've ever seen. Excellent stuff, and I'll echo the sentiments around here, this season of The Office was easily one of the BEST seasons of any comedy I've ever seen...so consistant, so brilliant week after week. I can't wait for the DVD and the wait until season 3, wondering about Jim and Pam, is going to be extremely tough. Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to go drop a deuce!

best parts!
Michael: I am going to donate to Afghanistanis with AIDs.
Jim: I think you mean the aid to Afghanistan.
Michael: No, I mean Afghanistanis with AIDs.
Phyllis: Afghani.
Michael: What?
Phyllis: Afghani.
Michael: That’s a dog.
Pam: No, that’s Afghan.
Michael: That’s a shawl.
Dwight: Wait, canine AIDs?
Michael: No. Humans with AIDs.
Creed: Who has AIDs?
Jim: Guys, the Afghanistanannies.
Pam: It’s a nice tux.
Dwight: I know. It belonged to my grandfather. He was buried in it, so, family heirloom.
Angela: We are giving money that has been gambled. Why don’t we just deal drugs, or prostitute ourselves, and donate that money to charity?
Toby: Actually, I didn’t think it was appropriate to invite children, since it’s uh, you know, there’s gambling and alcohol, and it’s in our dangerous warehouse, and it’s a school night, and you know, Hooters is catering, and is that enough, is that enough, should I keep going …

"Drop the deuce" and "Black Eyed Crowes" were fantastic lines. Also loved how Pam stays on the line for Michael's corny phone greeting just so Michael can get it right the second time around.
One question: where was Meredith? You would think an open bar would let her craziness come out. But I didn't see her once!
P.S.- Loved how Kevin is a World Series of Poker champion!

Roy was unable to help pick out a band, since he was "mainly focusing on the bachelor party right now." GREAT stuff.
Good ending, though I agree if this show's going to stick around longer than the British version did they couldn't drawn out the Pam/Jim angst a little longer. Who was Pam supposedly talking to on the phone when she said, "I think I am..." ?

Anyone else wish the Jim Pam romance would slow down? If they get together next season, that will kill a lot of the romantic tension and sort of head the show to the same kind of conclusion the English show had. Too soon.

I'll be interested in how the guys in the warehouse handle all of this when and if Pam breaks the news to Roy... Will Michael need to do another round of conflict resolution?
Overall I thought it was a great episode and was really excited all week in anticipation to see it. This summer will drag waiting for next season.
Hands down buying this season.

I agree but as another forum member stated they needed to get on with it as it was starting to drag out a bit. I will say the show has done a great job developing all the other characters and will give them options to go on, instead of needing to dwell on Pam/Jim
We'll see

I loved this finale, loved all the pam/Jim stuff. Hope by jim confessing that he loves her and the kiss doesnt change too much because the tenison between them this season is was great. I love how much micheal hates Toby, hes always so mean to him. This has been the best show on tv this year. Every episode has been excellent. cant wait for the dvd.

Agree with everybody here that this finale was superb. I thought Jim's confession was handled very well, and the kiss at the end worked for me because it was that one thing that we all WISH we would have done when we were in a similar situation. I didn't think it was ambiguous at all who Pam was talking about when she said "I think I am." She and her mom had been talking about Jim, so it was obvious the question concerned her love for Jim.
By the way, I understand why some feel the Pam/Roy relationship is unrealistic; however, I have seen this exact same situation more than once. Basically, it seems to me that Pam and Roy were high school sweethearts. He was the bad boy jock type and she was the popular sweet girl. She liked him because of his dangerous qualities. He liked her because she was hot. She matures, and he does not, but she stays with him because she thinks she can change him, and after awhile, it becomes one of those things where she doesn't leave him because she has so much time invested, and she is unwilling to admit that it's been a complete waste. What she needs is something to force her hand, and that's what happened in the finale.
I think Pam will struggle with the decision for a little while, but I'm willing to bet she drops Roy pretty quickly at this point. Then, that storyline will revolve around Jim and Pam's REAL courtship, which I think will have plenty of fodder since the show has developed the characters so well. This would definitely not be a "jump the shark moment" if handled well, and this show has given me faith that it will handle this storyline well.

For those of use who work in and office and have witnesses the office romance gone bad. Think of what they could do if they did let them get together and quickly ripped them apart.
Am I allowed to say: Angela looked hot !?!?!?
Or does the fact that Dwight hit it nullify the hotness?

I just hoppe the show doesn't do the cliche'd "they're in love / they're not in love" thing. I think there's plenty of fodder for the courtship without changing the characters drastically.

Tremendous episode though, but I was a little confused as to how Jim found Pam back in the office. She had obviously been on the phone with her mom for a little bit, it was just odd to see him stroll in. The Office S2 is probably my most wanted DVD of any kind at the moment, I just don't see myself getting sick of them. I think this episode or the "Dwight's Speech" episode were my favorites.
