I love Criminal Intent but when they took it off sundays I rarely watch I like to watch House I think it's because I've seen a lot more of CI so I find myself wanting to watch House.

Yikes. Those finale #'s for Jericho might seal the deal. :(

Although it has dipped. I can't see CBS ditching almost every new Pilot this year. Then again, I have no faith in CBS to nurture a show anymore (RIP Love Monkey) |
Considering their history, they don't seem to care much unless it is #1.

Criminal Minds took a hit in the ratings this week only get 12.82 as opposed to around 13 million from last week. I thought it was a really well done episode last night, I enjoyed the 'Saw' type format they were doing and even through T. Gibson's acting is nothing to write home about I see week by week he is improving and getting better.
I think this spell's the end for Crossing Jordan, Decent episode but the ratings are awful for the show and if NBC renews it i will kiss there feet because thats a big risk renewing a show with #'s like that. They should renew Raines if they renew CJ though because it got around those #'s as well. CSI: NY back to beating Lost again this week. I would have to say that CSI: NY was the better of the two last night. At least Lost #'s are steady and arn't sinking to much now. |

Not too surprising, though...

Is it just me, or is TV all around down from last year? The numbers just do not seem that high anymore.
Is Idol and House basically 1/2 in terms of rating for the entire week? |
There was a story on CNN or Yahoo yesterday that said that television has about 2 million fewer viewers than last year.

Earl got mediocre ratings for a Solid *Season finale* episode. Survivor seems to have gained a few viewers this week its seems which is nice to see.
CSI doesn't have the viewers it used to a couple weeks ago which is sad hell even Grey's anatomy is down in viewers. Sad to see Scrubs be the lowest rated show of the night for NBC when it is the highest rated show in terms of Quality next to Earl's *Season finale* episode last night. ER back to better ratings this week taking its usual 2nd and getting back to almost 10 million. Without a trace held up really well with its special time *Season finale*-wasn't a great episode & was probally the weakest cliffhanging finale for the show. |

I think part of the difference is in how the ratings are gathered. Yeah they're supposedly taking TiVo users into account slightly more than before, but I'd be willing to wager that the lack of proper handling of DVR users is throwing the numbers way off. The number of DVR users from today is probably significantly more than a just a year or two ago. |

Ah, gotcha. Then yeah, I agree.
