I think the weekly ratings usually come out on Monday or Tuesday following the week.

All around ouch for the night, excellent episode of 30 Rock last night, shame it didn't hold higher. Times are kind of weird though (since 30 Rock started at 8:45 and ended at about 9:27 and was rated for an hour. And The Office was only rated for 30 minutes instead of 44.)

Always feels weird that I don't watch a single show on CBS.

We must be in a totally different demographic. I pretty much only watch CBS shows.

Even though it was a repeat, those are awful numbers for Supernatural.

Yeah, they don't break down by 15-minutes so what's there is an estimate (like is done when sports runs over on CBS on Sundays).

Me neither. The only show I've watched on CBS in the last 5 years is The Class and since that's likely to be cancelled, I can go back to leaving that entire network off of my DVR in the fall.

It's possible.

And I understand why, they tend to have similarly themed shows.

I just don't like procedurals all that much, most tend to be lifeless and boring. CSI is good but I can't get into it week after week, an episode every now and a then is alright, but some of the writing just flat out grates on my nerves. The CSI:NY spin off isn't too bad either. CSI:Miami is one of the worst shows currently on the air, imo, up there with Two and a Half Men. I'm just flat out not a fan of NCIS, Close to Home, Ghost Whisperer (I'm in awe that its still on), Numbers, or Criminal Minds (this show particularly annoys me). Cold Case is hit or miss.

Though now that I think of it, I do like Without a Trace and The Unit has its moments, but theres always stuff I'd rather watch on. I haven't gotten into How I Met Your Mother, but hear it's great (it's on at a bad time). Gave Old Christine and The Class a shot but didn't find the desire to tune back in to either. Was never a big fan of Survivor.

So basically, I just did what everybody hates and gave my opinion on a bunch of stuff, an opinion nobody gives a shit about, yaaah me!

8-9pm (7-8pm):

Nice to see that Survivor is still getting good ratings, i would have liked to have seen 30 Rock #1 but sadly thats not going to happen. Are you smarter than a 5th grader? how does it do so well every week?
ABC & CW (ugly betty, supernatural) both aired repeats and take last places. the office sadly got its lowest ratings this year with a low 6.69 million people.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
I am happy that 30 rock got decent ratings but i am so sad at the ratings scrubs got this week with only 4.97 million people watching and 5.65 million watch 30 rock i am sad to see 2 great shows do poor.
i am not whining and complaining but maybe people should stop watching the grey's repeats and give these 2 great shows a try.
Anyways CSI takes 1st place, it was a meh. episode but at least it managed to beat a grey's repeat episode.
Family Guy with awful ratings, i don't care for the show at all and through the simpsons isn't as good anymore it is a better and oddly ill say its jokes are at least classy then just rude.
the CW airing another repeat of supernatural in its second hour.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
4.07million viewers for the getting better Andy Barker P.I. The repeat of earl got even worse ratings. I don't understand the appeal in the ever so formulaic shark but james woods is a great actor so i guess thats why people watch and october road lost approx. 1million viewers from a grey's anatomy repeat.

Shows by 18-49 Demo:
good to see 2/3 of my shows do well in the most important demo. 30 rock and scrubs did half decent in this demo but not great and andy barker P.I. did below av. in this demo.

My Shows:
Scrubs
30 Rock
Andy Barker P.I.
Survivor: fiji
CSI
My name is Earl (R)-didn't watch

Overall:
NBC's great comedies sadly don't do very well in the ratings. Survivor always does good and CSI is #1 when grey's anatomy isn't new. Earl hasn't had a new episode in a long time and i hope it gets better ratings when it returns next week.
Overall there were good shows on last night but sadly alot of them didn't do well in the ratings.

CBS has probably the most shows that I like. Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Shark, Rules of Engagement, and The Class towards the end.

On ABC I think it's only LOST. On NBC its the late shows and an occasional of the 3 Law & Orders and Identity and Black Donnellys which are gone, and Fox it's House and Til Death.

I gave Numbers a shot and couldn't get into it. I don't care about procedurals, so that rules out Criminal Minds, the CSI franchise, Without a Trace, and Shark. I also don't care much for 3-camera sitcoms, so their Monday night lineup(especially now with The Class finished) is meaningless. I can think of only 2 reasons to watch Ghost Whisperer, and those things have been on display since I Know What You Did Last Summer 10 years ago(yes it's been THAT long). So pretty much, CBS has nothing I want to watch.

That means if Lost was on CBS, it might be on the bubble.

CBS would be crazy to cancel Close to Home. They canceled Judging Amy while it was still doing well and have had problems with that time slot ever since. Same with NBC and Providence. If close to Home is on the bubble, why isn't Ghost Whisperer?

8-9pm (7-8pm):
through I dropped the show 3 episodes into this season, Ghost Whisperer killed everyone in the ratings. of course CBS might cancel it because it didn't get 10 million, wow there are being grinches this year.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
The best show in my opinion on friday's, Raines gets worse ratings week by week sadly. through i think if CBS cancel's close to home it would be the stupidest move in a long time by a network, i would (& im not bashing the show) be happy if it did happen to give raines a chance.
You know your program is going to be cancelled when it gets beat by a repeat of wife swap in the ratings.
I couldn't stand the wedding bell's personally & apparently neither does anyone else.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
yet another show i don't find intresting, Numb3rs does well i don't think its in danger of getting cancelled which makes no sense why close to home is on the bubble because close to home did a tiny bit better than numb3rs & better then ghost whisperer, wow CBS isn't run by grinches, its run by idiots. anyway Law & Order takes second place gaining more viewers then Raines oddly. 20/20 in third as the usual.

My Shows:
Raines
Law & Order

Shows by 18-49 Demo:
through close to home came in third in the most important demo it is still the top 3 so CBS....whats wrong with you, do you just not like the show like me or are you guys dumb?

Overall:
My favorite new show Raines sadly isn't standing up to well in the ratings, Law & Order did half decent.
Pretty low key night fridays are and the people that run CBS don't know what the hell they are doing.

Last week - “Six Degrees” (ABC) 3.18m
This week - “Wife Swap” (R) (ABC) 4.60m

I guess the numbers don't lie and ABC's decision to kill 6 degrees paid off.

The underground buzz has been good. The rumor is NBC loves the show, and may want to sit on this show for the summer, release the DVD early and let people catch up via word of mouth.

But these ratings have to be making them think hard.

A golden globes win would have helped but the foreign press wathcing a football show, was not goingt o happen.

But I can see a scenario where they renew this show, rleease the DVD in July, hope they get 5 or 6 emmy noms and win 3, and hope they begin to track upwards.

NBC is the only network who would nurse a show like this right now, we're lucky they are bottom feeders right now, they have a quality show, now will the people come.

They also have a very good track record (hill steet blues, seinfeld) of staying patient with initially low performing shows.

That being said, I'm praying like hell we get 1 more season of Panther football.

Wow... Desperate Housewives dips to 15.66 million ... is that a series low? I always recall it doing at least 18-19m and sometimes up into 22-23m. Maybe ABC didn't promote it's return enough.

Sunday - 04/08
7-8pm (6-7pm):
60 Minutes kicked some booty last night. AMFHV through i can't stand the show took 2nd and poor dateline NBC always gets the leftover viewers with a low 5.23 million viewers.
shows that through even it was a repeat Til death would be cancelled if it's new episodes wern't after american idol on FOX.
the repeat of One tree hill on the CW got the worst ratings i have seen in awhile with a piss poor 0.85.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
Amazing Race in trouble not only losing to extreme makeover but losing 60 minutes viewers. Happy to see dateline NBC pick up some extra viewers.
The simpsons & king of the hill repeats gained viewers from the awful ratings til' death got.
the new episode of 7th heaven on the CW gained a lot of viewers from the really piss poor ratings of the one tree hill repeat.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
No love for cold case this week as it gets beat by DH & deal or no deal. the CW loses viewers with a repeat of Americas next top model. and family guy/american dad oddly gained viewers from its simpsons/hill viewers which i don't like cause im a fan of the first 2 not guy/dad.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
thank god without a trace got out of the first 2 cbs shows rut ratings with a very pleasing 14 million viewers. brothers & sisters loses 5 million viewers from DH & the apprentice L.A. loses approx 3.5 million viewers from deal or no deal.

Shows by 18-49 Demo:
#'s 4,5,6 which were without a trace, amazing race, cold case did alright but for some reason this year CBS has crazy idea's and i hope none of these 3 shows are in danger of being cancelled, for a further explanation look at next fridays viewers of close to home and you'll see what im talking about.

My Shows (in terms of Quality from best-least fav. ep's.):
1. Without a trace
2. Cold Case
3. Dateline NBC
4. The Amazing Race: all-stars
5. The Simpsons (R)-didn't watch but have seen the episode
6. King of the hill (R)-didn't watch but have seen the episode

Overall:
the ratings for CBS last night were below av. the CW & NBC gained viewers by the hour and fox didn't even bother airing an original programming, who do they think they are ABC?

During season one it had an av. of 23.71 million viewers per episode. During the second season it had an av. of 22.2 million viewers.
I don't know why the ratings have dipped so much, all in all primetime ratings on sundays & fridays have dipped.
its still the #1 show on Sundays.
I admittedly watched the show during season 1 then dropped the show during season two & now that i don't watch it i don't hardly see ABC giving promos for the show as much as it did during the first season.
they promote lost like crazy but thats doing worse in the ratings. i guess ABC is happy with the ratings so they don't feel the need to promote the show as much anymore.
