24 is still doing really well in the 18-49 demo and that's what FOX and the advertisers really care about and what will ultimately decide if FOX orders a 7th season.

Keep in mind the ones on Sunday are just replays of the Wednesday episodes.
8-9pm (7-8pm):
i still don't see why people like watching deal or no deal? its awful (in my opinion). I don't watch prison Break but i would choose to watch it over DOND any day, i guess people don't like to think while watching tv at that time. steady ratings for wife swap, ABC's 2 nanny/swap shows do better than Fox's fridays. everybody hates chris is alright but All of us is awful.
9-10pm (8-9pm):
holy shit! two and a half men and rules of engagement are in the #1 spot beat both Heroes and 24, very nice to see its about time comedies get some light in the sun. 24's ratings are indeed declining and personally i don't care cause i don't watch the show. good ratings for Supernanny, ABC actually gained a some extra ratings. Both girlfriends and the game are bad shows and i can't wait till they fire Dawn from the CW, and hopefully bring back Reba for 1 more season!
10-11pm (9-10pm):
kick ass ratings for CSI: Miami. my least favorite of the CSI series but still better than studio 60 and way better than what about brian. David Caruso is comedy in my opinion so CBS is winning in the comedy department.
Shows by 18-49 Demo:
Wow heroes did really good in the 18-49 demo, i don't like the series through. nice to see the hit comedy CSI: Miami due well in this demo.
LOSERS
ha, yea the CW is a loser, I don't understand how that network doesn't go under?
I'm shocked Rules of Engagement is doing so well

I have nothing but praise for Dawn because if it wasn't for her 'Veronica Mars' and 'One Tree Hill' wouldn't even be on the network right now, and OTH is actually brining in a lot of money for the network, and VM is giving the network the critical praise that it desperately needs.
But what the CW ultimately needs to do (especially sine '7th Heaven' and 'Reba' are both finished and 'One Tree Hill' and 'Smallville' are both in really good stopping points) is to pretty much cancel (or half-season) many of their shows and produce a quality amount of good pilots to carry the network over into its next realm of being...
The main reason it doesn't go under is because it constantly gets second/first place in the teen demos which is where the most advertising dollars can be found.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
good ratings for NCIS again this week and nice to see it the second overall most watched show. i figured american idol would be #1 god knows why people watch this show? nice to see dateline beat americas (un) funniest home vidoes, & through i dont like gilmore girls they got really good ratings last nite.
9-10pm (8-9pm):
again american idol in #1 and it gained more viewers for some reason. good ratings for the unit but cbs lost alot of its NCIS viewers. again L&O: CI is in the 3rd place spot but this week the ratings are better for the show so thats nice to see. nice to see veronica mars losing viewers, and primetime: outsiders beat it.
10-11pm (9-10pm):
nice to see L&O: SVU in the #1 spot again this week through 11m people isn't huge numbers. pretty close ratings between the new episode of boston legal and the repeat of csi: miami.
Shows by 18-49 Demo:
wow L&O: SVU did really well in the 18-40 demo, even beating out NCIS, at least my 2 top favorite shows of the nite are in the top 3 in this demo.
Final thoughts:
another good nite for CBS, through fox's idol beat it in both timeslots it still fared very well, in my opinion cbs is on a role this year and really is the #1 network pulling in the numbers. NBC would be in 2nd through they are struggling they have alot of good shows.

I thought this was a thread about discussing the ratings of shows. Since we now are painfully aware what shows you like and don't like feel free not to remind us every day.

Have you ever watched VM? Grey's? Ugly Betty? My guess is no. I used to go to school with someone like you who hated everything that the majority of others liked just to get attention. So let me get this straight, you hate every great show on television but love Reba? OK.

with grey's anatomy i watched the series premiere, didn't like it at all, i decided not to even bother with watching any of s2 but i did decide to watch the s3 premiere which i thought was awful, & with ugly betty i watched the pilot and it was god awful in my opinion.
just because you think those shows are great tv and you don't like reba doesn't mean i can't think those are not great shows and that reba sucks. you hate every great show but like reba, OK? i can like what i like.
i am stating my opinion of what i would have liked to have seen in the #1 spot and im not or am glad not to see in the #1 spot, i will voice my opinion thats what its about and if you don't like it your just going to have to suck it up and deal with it.
i don't need attention, im a private person, but i do have the rite to state my opinion and you do have the rite to disagree with me, but before you start guess that i just say i don't like the show for the sake of not like it ask me first.

I fear for Lost's numbers next week, what a terrible episode this week. But at least it had a mild upkick.

Idol took a chunk out of everything last night. Jericho lost 2.25 million viewers from it's last new episode, FNL was down two million, and even Criminal Minds was down over a million.

Since this is where the competition heats up and people at home can vote, that's why everything else was down and AI was up (by 3m in the 9pm hour).

still look at abc at 8-10 only 5.05m - 5.38m then lost gets 12.89m CSI only got 2 million more viewers. Lost still gets good ratings for ABC and still gets excellent 18-49 demo ratings which Advertisers look for

you mean you didn't hear? The CW has changed their minds and they are bringing Reba back for an additional 200eps. when asked why the sudden change they stated "we have been reading several web forums and discovered a person who we feel is Reba's 1 fan. after reading numerous posts from this fan we felt TV in America would be much better with Reba still on the air."

Moving On....
Wednesday - 02/21
8-9pm (7-8pm):
I don't like any of these shows and thats my opinion! jericho got low numbers, through its in the #2 spot with 8 million viewers CBS won't keep the show on the air.
9-10pm (8-9pm):
nice to see Criminal minds beat deal or no deal. low ratings for the lost repeat, but i expected that. can someone tell me why american idol picks up viewers in the second hour? i don't watch the show so i dont know.
10-11pm (9-10pm):
CSI: NY does it again! for the third week in a row. i watched both CSI: NY & Lost. both shows had good episodes last nite. Low ratings for medium, even lower than last week, which isn't a bad thing exept for the few medium fans out there. i personally don't like the show but i know theres a fanbase for the show.
Shows by 18-49 Demo
wow Lost was 2nd overall in the 18-49 demo. nice to see criminal minds and CSI: NY at the top of the list as well.
Overall
again american idol demolishes all the other shows on the tube last nite. american idol is on thur. now at 8-9pm (7-8pm)-so its going to kill earl and survivor in the ratings probally, damn Fox.
