I think ABC should start thinking about announcing an actual end date like they promised.
I think they lost a lot of viewers they aren't getting back.

Friday:
8-9pm (7-8pm):
exept for nanny 911 i don't like any of these shows. i used to like ghost whisperer but it got boring for me. nice to see GS beat 1 vs. 100 through, its nice to see any game show/reality show get beat.
nanny 911 got really bad ratings this week.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
oh come on more people are watching close to boring than las vegas. i guess people like watching safe shows over las vegas. i watched both las vegas and trading spouses (TS at later time) and they were both pretty good. again fox getting piss poor ratings with there second reality show of the night.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
law & order rite in the middle. good place for it. i don't like numbers but this is L&O's worst season.

WINNERS
yea 11 million is pretty poor, fridays is slow night.

Losers
well smackdown should be in this section mainly cause it sucks. same with close to home.

HONORABLE MENTION
Las vegas is the best show on fridays, actually its the only good show on fridays thats half decent. if it wasn't for everyone liking heroes and 24 i wish las vegas was back on mondays.

DISHONORABLE MENTION
put smackdown there too.

FINAL NATIONALS - WEEK OF JANUARY 29th, 2007
scrubs isn't even on the list, what a god damn crime people are watch garbage idol and greys garbage over alot of good shows. nice to see criminal minds in the top 10, alot of that has to do with the superbowl through.
bones is ahead of NCIS, NCIS is 10 times better than that CSI ripoff.
wow 93 million people watched the super bowl, minus me.

Adults 18-49
at least scrubs is on this list but its down the list to much. good again to see criminal minds on the top 10 and ER in the #11 spot.
ugly garbage is beating earl? wow thats garbage!

NETWORK RANKINGS
i figured CBS would be the #1 network in all departments cause of the super bowl.

WINNERS
criminal minds is the only good show in the winner section, and csi.

HONORABLE MENTION
i only like NCIS out of those shows so it nice to see it in this section.

Nate, I will again explain that the winners/losers section isn't about the quality of the show but how it did in the ratings. I gave Friday Night Smackdown an honorable mention because it continually does well. Same thing with Close to Home. I've never seen either programs (and never will) but they did well in the ratings.

Why even bother? It's clear that he thinks the ratings should be based solely on what he likes or doesn't like.

8m viewers warrants an honorable mention?

I'm not a fan of seeing shows fail perse, but it's nice to see the 7th Heaven revival backfired.

Since I'm a big CJ fan, I'm happy to see the show continue to gain viewers every week. I think it also helped that Sunday's episode was a crossover with Las Vegas. After starting out with just over 6.5 million viewers in the premiere, I'm happy to see it up to over 8 million. It still has a huge hurdle to climb though if it wants to make it to a season 7.

Yeah, I put The Simpsons in there since it was up against the Grammy's and still did pretty well (IIRC, it was on par with other new eps).

I have to agree, especially since their is a very, very good chance that it took 'Everwoods' place on the schedule.

i don't remember you expalining this before? but i get you point. i won't even bother commenting on that section cause people just complain.

Tuesday - 12/05 ?

7-8pm (6-7pm):
sad to see Reba in last place again. next week is the 2 part series finale, i hope the last 2 episodes are better than this weeks because i think they just gave up on quality this season. its sad to see a good show go.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
decent ratings for king of the hill and the simpsons considering its up against the grammies. the ratings for extreme makeover: home edition and the grammies are close.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
49th Annual Grammy Awards naturally in first place. the ratings for the grammies this year seem low? very close to desparate housewives, i guess people are sick of award shows (as am i). no one is watching beauty and the geek and the apprentice didn't do all that great but compared to BATG it did great.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
crossing jordan again in third place but it was up against the grammies. 8.07mill isn't that bad i guess. i would have rather seen CG in second over brothers & Sisters. the ratings arn't that far apart from las vegas 9.14m on friday. both underrated shows.
.................................................................................................... ....
Saturday - 02/10:
wow 8.01 mill is the highest on saturdays.

"Whoever wins, we lose" I think is the approproate quote for Saturday night programming...
indeed, saturday it "Death" for tv.

Grammy Ratings were actually up, last year they competed against American Idol and drew, I think, 2 million less viewers.

I think Studio 60 and What about Brian are as good as gone at the end of the season. Aaron Sorkin might as well start writing the series finale.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
wow deal or no deal beat 24 by 3 million people? i don't watch 24 but i would rather see it in the #1 place than that shit game show. wife swap did alright this week. big difference between CW comedies and CBS comedies.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
nice to see some comedies get some time in the ratings sun. i think they might keep rules of engagement on for a long time if they beat out 24 with two and a half men. nice to see some mega hits get hit by the ratings. TAAHM & ROE are release close to the ratings of Heroes.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
nice to see CSI: Miami with awesome ratings, great episode last nite. i don't like studio 60 & what about brian, is awful.

*NEW*-Final Thoughts:
great nite for CBS & NBC.

8-9pm (7-8pm):
good ratings for NCIS again this week, its half the ratings of garbage idol but its still 10 mill better than dateline. nice to see dateline beat americas (un) funniest home videos and gilmore girls.

9-10pm (8-9pm):
wow, bad ratings for a great episode of Law & Order: CI, i used to like the unit but i lost all intrest in it. house is getting american idol ratings. im not a fan of the show but its nice to see a non garbage show do good. house is doing better than now former mega fox hit "24".
boston legal even did good this week.

10-11pm (9-10pm):
nice to see the better L&0 series SVU do better and in the #1 slot in this timeslot. the repeat of without a trace is in 3rd but still good ratings.

Shows by 18-49 Demo
good to see L&O:SVU & NCIS up the list, nice to see the 2 CW shows at the bottom.

Actually, if you want to, VM did do better then last week by a little under 200,000 viewers, and gg dropped a few hundred thousand. and nieither vm or gg were shown in my market due to the ACC basketball.

Its more than just AI. House had AI as a lead in last year, and its ratiings we're Not this impressive

FYI, House was doing better last year than 24.... not sure how 24 was ever fox's mega hit. Its ratings have been consistantly n the 13-14 million viewers

24 was never a mega hit. It drew 8m the first season, 11 the second, and 12 - 14 from then on out.

I almost put Lost in the Dishonorable Mention but since it did do well in the 18-49 demo, it barely made it off.

Ouch for Lost, but kind of expected that -- considering the 18 - 49 group is the shows biggest draw, most likely had plans (V-Day), and save for Idol, all seemed pretty drab in that group.

More interested in next weeks ratings. Still haven't figured out the appeal of Criminal Minds.

If you would have told me 2 months ago that BOnes would almost catch LOST in the ratings, I would have said you we're crazy.
