Here's hoping that HBO reairs the first season in HD before the 2nd season starts. I missed this show when it first aired.

It wasn't even OnDemand last time I checked (admittedly a couple months ago). And if I didn't want to watch it in HD, I wouldn't have specified that in my original post.

Man S2 looks amazing. An actual battle? Looks like this will be what S1 shoulda been (and I loved S1). And Cleopatra is back... niiiice!

So we do get 12 eps right? The OP says 10. And is this really the last season? With them cancelling so much shit, cant they keep one fucking action show?

I'm hoping it's not the last season, since I think it makes for great Television. Figure this means no Sopranos until April since it would make sense to run the 12 episodes of Rome before showing those last Soprano episodes.

I just watched the EP 1 on one of those HBO show sampler dvd's packaged with a SIX FEET UNDER boxset from COSTCO.

Man, as soon as the credits rolled I wanted to run out and get the S1 boxset.

I love those ads... so fucking cool. I hope the ratings go up this season and somehow the show gets a stay of execution... it's just too fucking good to be gone after 2 seasons. That said, I can't wait to see how the second season plays out regardless, should be excellent.

Can't speak for everyone's cable system, but here in Chicago Comcast On Demand has put up all of Rome Season 1 episodes. Now is a good chance for those of us without the dvds to catch up or refresh ourselves with Rome before the Season Two.

I am SOOOO happy Cleopatra will be featured more (as per her add). Has the premier date been announced for this? And its officially cancelled after this season right? I will cancel HBO as soon as its done.

Anyone heard when Big Love is coming back?

she is supposed to have an affair with Anthony and Augustus will kill her child. I don't know how you can cut that out.

I think history is considered a spoiler here.
