This episode wasn't too bad, maybe because my expectations have been lowered...I don't know.

While I'll buy season 5, I'm hoping for a commentary on episode 100 to see just WTF they were thinking when they killed Pa Kent. I am really waiting for a good explanation on why they did that. Somehow I don't think I'll get one.

I liked this episode, although I'm having a hard time buying that the Med student dude could just get right back up and sneak up behind Clark with the Kryptonite syringe after getting tossed like a rag doll through several metal stands.

But it's just fine that Clark's thrown a million people around like rag dolls and likes to go to superspeed without checking to make sure anyone's looking, and will seamlessly become Superman without anyone knowing who is really is because he'll cut his hair and part it?

My DVR was full so it didn't record this one. Was it pretty much a stand-alone or did they advance the Fine plotline?

Well Chloe told Clark that Fine was spotted in South America. So Clark went down there to look for him and saw the boy with the wooden toy shaped like the spaceship. Then he found the spot where the spaceship was at and all he saw was a burned impression of it in the grass.

Later Chloe told Clark her source was Lionel Luther.

(No Fine appearance though in the ep, that I recall)

A so-so episode with the only highlight seeing Jonathon again.
Do we really need another Kryptonite type episode?

And how is it that Clark can suddenly be pierced by a syringe needle?

My head is spinning with this episode. Hey, at least
Spoiler:
Pa Kent
is around!
it wasn't RF, they tracked where she swiped the card
but I want to know how her card worked for just any old lab she needed to get into. When I was in college your id only worked for labs you had a good reason to have access to

when we were having problems with a certain serial killer, the campus made a big student id upgrade system and all the dorms were using much newer scanners for the new ids. if you live on campus, your id only can get you in your own dorm. though all the labs use real keys to lock the doors, I know that for the chem and bio labs though I think lana was sneaking into a med school lab. I think it's possible that there are cases where schools don't bother to put restrictions on what a student id can access.

I'll put it this way, these past few episodes have been better than the start of the season.

Two days after the episode airs, and Red Dog can get an answer to his question about Fine in 6 minutes, but no one would answer this:

What happened?
The last thing I saw was Lana going to see Lex, then a severe weather update, then Clark was walking away from Lana, and the ep ended.
Thank gods for TWOP.
