But what cracked me up even more was when Juliette Lewis' character replied with, "What a gentleman." That killed me.

I actually really liked this episode. I just finally got a chance to watch it tonight. Maybe I was just in the mood to really laugh because I've had a rough couple of days, but this has been one of my faves for a while.

A couple of the other lines that killed me that were already mentioned were the marrying Corky line and "Melt these down and bail me out."

I was also a little worried if they took Joy a little too far into warm territory. But I thought they handled it well enough, and her fight right after that just proves she's still Joy.

I've never understood all the hate for Juliette Lewis, but it seems like she's the type who people either really like or really hate. I think the role she is in makes a huge difference, but I've always liked her.

Loved how the show bring back characters and incidents from previous episodes.

I loved the scene with Crabman getting "stressed out" by Juliette Lewis character.

Highlight for me was the Juliette Lewis getting in shape montage set to "Lunatic Fringe." Lewis usually bothers me but she nailed this role. Maybe because, like Jamie Pressly, she was born to play white trash.

When Earl episodes click, and this one did, they're very satisfying.

I agree with the first part. The lunatic fringe bit was great. Also agree about Lewis, I can't stand her but she nailed this one.

Unfortunately it was only a mediocre affair on the whole for me. Weren't any lol moments for me.

Kill Bill also uses several Ennio Morricone tracks.

This was one of the weakest episodes for me. The elements all seemed there, but it just didn't click for me.

My favorite line was, "When I woke up in the morning, I wondered if I was ONCE AGAIN missing nine months of my life."

I loved how Juliette Lewis was channeling Linda Hamilton from T2. Talking with the lisp was great too.

I don't think, by the way, that they shifted Joy's character too far. They've been showing a softer side of Joy lately, such as the moment she discovered that she missed her kids when they were gone, but she is still largely a self-centered, trashy chick who has a mean nasty streak. I don't think that will change just because she showed some remorse for taking advantage of Earl.

Wow, you just freaked me out. It sounded totally reasonable to me when I originally wrote it, but in reading it back with a Randy Jackson voice in my head... And I haven't even watched AI in two years!

Well, it could be worse. You could have been compared to Paula Abdul ...

It was only an OK episode IMO. I liked seeing more Joy, and having her and Earl be nice to each other was good for a chance as well.

I think this is the first episode of the series I didn't fully enjoy. Still.. 20 of 21 is a good record!

I wouldn't panic unless you start preceding every sentence by drawing air through your teeth or doing the downward pointing "We got a hot one tonight!" every time you like a certain episode.
