The best part of the show is that it is only 28 minutes long. I actually liked thefact that they aren't dragging it out and it is not much of a time commitment to watch. I think I'll continue to tune in, if anythin to hear some of the rest of the people's secrets. That was kind of funny watching their faces when their secrets were read.

I'm ashamed I actually watched this. No more for me. Totally dislikeable participants for the most part.

I see nothing redeeming or interesting about this show. Hey let's put a bunch of people in a room together that we've already screened and determined will all get on each others nerves and if they can all agree who should get the money we'll give it to them - but of course they won't agree and they'll just bicker until the money goes down to almost nothing.

No talent required. No point. No nothing.

Can't wait till next week.

Wasn't great, but it still beats the AI results show that precedes it.

Pretty much all these type reality shows have it written in the contract that you cannot split the money. I'm sure this one is the same way.

I liked it, and it has the potential to get even better.

I liked: Keeping elimintated contestants in the game.
I disliked: The stupid idea of eliminating them based on their "secrets." A random drawing would have been better than that.

Seriously, in the pregame interviews I doubt these people really did air out their worst past actions (although I'm surprised someone offered up they had $100k and filed for bankruptcy).
I thought of this too, but it could be that this information was gathered by investigators for the show. I mean it wouldn't be that hard to dig up an applicant's past regarding bankruptcy, mental heath, or arrest records.

I thought the show was pretty crappy, I was interested until they said they'd eliminate someone. I don't think they should eliminate anyone at all. keep them all around.

And the whole idea of putting people together who the producers knew would conflict has been around since the beginning of reality TV. from Survivor the The Real World. Although this show seemed more obvious about it than most.

Keeping them all would ensure that no one would ever unanimously agree to one person. If you eliminate the possibility for someone to win, you eventually will get enough people who are motivated enough to leave that they may be willing to agree to give it to one person.

I thought it was ridiculous for the minister woman to go on and on about the evils of homosexuality and that the gay guy was going to hell when here secret was declaring bankruptcy despite owning hundreds of thousands of dollars. I'm pretty sure lying, cheating, and stealing are frowned upon in the Bible.

the commercials made this show look very interesting but somehow my tivo just didnt tape it even though i programmed it to.

can someone explain how the show works - all i know is that someone gets paid if they all agree to it (which i find to be impossible) and the longer they take the less money it is. what are the actual rules?

Just like the guy told everyone he had cancer, I don't believe the minister woman is a minister at all. She certainly doesn't act like one. I think it's all a bunch of phoney stories people chose to try and give themselves a better chance to win. Maybe not, but it's the first impression I got.

I'm not trying to defend her, but I thought they said something like 'despite having a combined income of 100,000 dollars'. Which is quite different than "owning hundres of thousands of dollars".

A judge in Federal Bankruptcy court has to approve all bankruptcy proceedings.

I didn't think her secret was necessarily all that big. I mean bankruptcy isn't about how much money you earn. It's about your earnings to dept ratio.

Sometimes a bankruptcy is forced on someone due to circumstances beyond their control. Loss of employment with inability to match previous earning potential, for example. The way familiy law is structured in this country, a divorce can easily trigger a bankruptcy, too.

K-Mart has been bankrupt at least twice yet they have earnings in the millions.

I don't think that "minister" is pretending - it's hard to fake that kind of intolerance. When did religous people become such assholes? The bible has been used to justify slavery, and the subjugation of women as well, is that god's word, too?

They seem to be making up new rules as they go..
New rules:

- If 1 person leaves the money gets reduced in half

However, shouldn't someone in that situation learn some humility and not be so quick to judge others who may be just as imperfect as she is.

Well finally got around to watching the show. Was looking forward to see how it turned out. Pretty good concept but just not well executed.

Unfortunately. I'll still be watching it since I have no life.

no thread on the third episode. The show is looking pretty fake or heavily influenced by the producers (though they probably didn't want the bible lady leaving).

It was a huge turnaround from the previous vote and now maybe no one will get the money. The crazy guy Richard is freaking nuts or an actor. Just when you think Fox cannot go any lower, they keep digging

Have I mentioned how much I hate this show? Possibly even worse than "The Swan". Yeah. THAT bad.

Thanks to Lost and Heist being on at 9:00, that leaves this show out in the cold.

Maybe it's a good thing.

I'm still watching. I think it is more like what I had thought Big Brother was supposed to be when I heard about it before it's first season. The time frame seems very compressed compared to what they seem to want you to think. It looks like they have a vote what, daily? That means they are in there for less than two weeks, tops, before enough people are eliminated that someone just about has to win.

I love this show (even though I agree it's terrible). It's like they went through every reality show of the past, brought together the worst elements, and threw them together. Add in an emotional detached 12-year-old with a goatee as the host, and "Circle of Crappiness" is complete.

I hate this show. It is so bad.

They make a big deal about some woman leaving the game, but then say "Oh, but we won't split the money in half because she is leaving for a medical condition." Only from piecing together what another person said, csn the audience figure out she has migraines.

I really think they are making this shit up as they go along. I think they are worried the money will get so low that everyone will up and leave. I know I am. This show is not even worth the 28 minuted after American Idol, in the background while doing 2 other things at once. Horrible.
