I'm dying to see what resolution we get to Kavenaugh's story and if it's going to continue with him through the next half-season (or whatever they're calling it).

Is this a season finale or a mid-season finale? I read in TV Guide that Shawn Ryan isn't 100% sure they will come back.

Thanks for the info. With that being the case I am expecting a helluva cliffhanger.

Tonight cannot arrive soon enough. I'm so glad I now have FX as this half season has hooked me to this show.

FYI, SpikeTV is broadcasting the older episodes, if you're interested in catching up. They did a 4-night marathon of the first season this last weekend, and they'll be showing the episodes from the start again on the 24th.

If you're going to DVR them, make sure to pad the recordings a bit. During the marathon, every episode ended up going over by at least a minute or two, which would end up with the final episode of the night running around ten minutes late.

Oh my god... Shane, you bastard. I knew he was a fucking clueless loser when he didn't have Vic there to keep him on a short leash, but this.... god damn.

I figured when they found out about the deal, Lem became a marked man in Shane's eyes.

I think it's pretty clear now that they're taking the path I figured they would for a while now. Vic's one weakness is Shane. He thinks Shane is a competent second in command even though Shane has disappointed again and again. Lem is dead now. Shane and Vic will go down for it, and Ronnie will walk free.

Blew him up with one of the grenades from the bust earlier. He may be unconscious, but I'd bet he's more likely dead.

EDIT: Nope, he's dead.

OK... HOW LONG do we have to wait til the next half of this season?

That last 20 minutes was insane. If/When Vic finds out it was Shane...

My heart sank when I heard Shane drop the grenade into Lem's car.

Holy crap! That was eff'ing nuts. I really feel like Shane and Vic have to go down for this now, espicially after watching THAT. Ronnie probably should walk, I would imagine Vic and Shane realize the end is near and take the heat for everything. But that was simply amazing.

HOLY COW.

Not gonna lie though....I think Shane did the right thing.

Lem shouldn't have mentioned the money train to the lawyer.

I'm starting to wonder if it won't be Vic figuring out in a moment of clarity that Shane has ruined everything including killing Lem and severely beating Tavon. Vic then whips out his gun, empties it into Shane, and goes down for Shane's murder. Ronnie walks free.

ETA: On another note, I think it's clear things are going down in the back half with Dutch and the girly cop. It's going to head to a dark place one way or another.

Shane did what had to be done to protect his wife and kids. Lem would have eventually cracked in prison. But it will be interesting to see if Shane's actions will tear the team apart.
