The Amazing Race 9 -- 3/07/06
Will Fran and Barry get laser eye surgery at the pitstop?
Will David and Lori sport pocket protectors to further enhance their image?
Will Lake meet his demise?
Will Yolanda continue to attract hoards of men with her booty?
Will BJ and Tyler be detained at customs for suspected drug possession?
Will the Glamazons ever shut up?

I hope the Frosties get Philiminated this week....simply can't stand to hear people scream, screech, and yell for no reason. Besides, they actually show one of them with a wet spot from peeing themself, I may throw up!
Looking forward to seeing more Desiree .....this girl has many fans on every TAR forum I've been to.

I pick the old couple because they had problem finding the clue box last week. Also, they seem to be making bad decision on which challenges to tackle. They picked the motorcycle challenge when they didn't have any mechanical experience.

I don't know the names yet so I don't know who to vote for in the poll. It's going to be one of the old teams (cluebox missers or glamour queens). I'll go with the "frosties" since they are so damn annoying.
What time is it on tonight? I caught the end of a promo this week and thought it mentioned a "new time".
Edit: nevermind, i just checked TAR website and it says nothing about a special time.

Chris
p.s. they are having commercials right now, but he will return right after that.

Is this new time permanent? I hate watching TV; and I sure as hell dont want to watch till 10pm C. I have better stuff to do. If its going to be like this from now on, I may have to stop watching the show.... especailly since I record The Shield when this airs.

No time slot in TV is "permanent". It was at this time a few races ago and then went to the 9/8 hour for about three races, only to move back to the current time.
You're guaranteed this time for the entire 9th race, but that's about it.

I don't think anyone else has mentioned this, but tonights episode is the 100th episode according to tvrage.com
http://www.tvrage.com/The_Amazing_Race/episodes/328060
Title: I'm Flithy and I Love It!
Episode Number: 100
Season: 09
Season Episode #: 02
Production Number:
Original Airdate: 07/Mar/2006
Director: (unknown)
I remember the first few seasons how we were all holding our collective breaths wondering if CBS was going to cancel this show and now 5 years later and 2 (?) Emmys later, this show is a bonified hit!
Congratulations to the little show that could!

The power of prayer.
Have to say though, I'm a little disappointed at the pessimistic attitude of some of these teams. It's like all of the last five teams thought they were going to be eliminated. I'm used to the "we can still do this!" attitude.
I definitely put the hippies and the lazy jocks in pole position at the moment.

Eric and Jeremy are overcompensating a little too much. They're either complete tools or totally gay. Speaking of which:
Good call
Fran and Barry could be the worst racers ever with the missed clue boxes and bad detour choices, but I give them credit for still being in the race.
