oh, i did want to add something about the older woman. that was extremely good-spirited of her to console the pink girl at the top of the fire escape. did the girl even say thank you? If it were me, and I got to the bottom, i'd be sure to tell the husband to tell his wife that I said "Thank you".

Is the Phil guy always so boring like that? His facial expressions are mean looking like he isnt enjoying himself at all. He needs to take advice from Probst. I know that guy is having a party just off of camera rubbing it in the contestants faces.

I've always found his facial expressions and tone of voice are directly related to the position the teams finish, ranging from first place happy to last place very sad.

Jeff isn't as worn down by travel as Phil. I imagine that begins to wear on you. Fly, wait, fly, stand still for 8 hours while all the teams decide to show up.

yeah, i love phil's reactions. like when the duaghter said "oh, phil" this past week. he got a kick out of that.

I'd wager that Phil knows when a team is apporaching. It would be hell if he had to stand there for the whole time between the 1st and last teams.

He said sometimes he has very little times between when the last team arrives, to get to the next days pitstop, and shoot all the little footage things he does.

Especially when they are spread out, but it was probably 4 hours or so in the difference, maybe more though.

No doubt. But he also isn't going for a nap or a swim or down to the pub. He's hanging around the pit stop.

Phil has the best one-eyebrow-raise since Leonard Nimoy.

When the Frosties were eliminated, I was hoping Phil would ask "Where's your Jesus now?!?"

As for those who don't like Phil, I suggest you watch some of the extended interviews and Phil's web diaries. He's actually very much into the game, and has some interesting insights on the contestants.
