That would rock, considering there were only 53 episodes total. I may be ordering SHOWTIME.
Now the thing is, do you believe the journalist OR the New York Post?
February 28, 2006 -- THAT fans of "Arrested Development" can relax. Word is Showtime not only picked up the canceled Fox show but also ordered 26 more episodes . . .

I think the Showtime rumor has been floating for a few weeks now, but it hasn't gone past "rumor" stage. When Showtime actually announces the next season, along with a start date, I'll be

I think if it goes to Showtime, they should either stay with the censoring or just have the first episode filled with curses, even use a curse in episode title.
Either way I'm happy if this is true.

Kristin at E! online said yesterday that as far as she knows, it's still rumour, but a reliable cast member said a deal is "CLOSE", so right now it was a little better than 50/50 it would be back... So I think until showtime makes an official statement, this is the same rumour, so it's not officially a done deal yet.

They better leave in all of the censors. That is one of the tiny pieces of the heart of the show in my opinion. I look at it as the "documentary filmmakers" doing the censoring, and not the network.

This has been rumoured in many places before. Word has it Showtime was looking to pick it up for 2 13 episode seasons, and they are very very close to signing it.

As much as I loved the show... I can't see it getting renewed. It wrapped up so nicley that I would rather just leave it at that.
But for the sake of everyone else in this thread... ignore this post, Showtime.

Blecch ... one of the local radio stations this morning reported as fact that Showtime had picked up 26 episodes. I get to my computer and find out it's just the same unsubstantiated reports in the OP. I feel as if a doctor just said "we lost your father" ...
