I'm going to show my support and sign up for showtime the moment it's announced. I'm not taking any risks with this show. It's worth paying to keep it on the air.

I doubt I would sign up right away as that would be a waste of my money, but I'd probably have Showtime installed a week or so before the episodes start airing.

I agree that they should keep the (self-)censorship in regards to language; it just makes it funnier.
But I am looking forward to lots of full-frontal nudity.
Just as long as it's Lindsey Funke and not Tobias Funke. Mrs. Fingerbottom should ALWAYS be wearing clothes. And probably cutoffs under the costume, just in case.
Say, would I be being greedy and ungateful to ask for them to make Justine Bateman a semi-regular as well?

My husband called me this morning to say that he too heard on the radio that it's picked up by Showtime. Now say what you want about the media, but I really can't imagine it being broadcast that Showtime picked it up if it wasn't.
We won't be adding Showtime to our cable because cable costs so much here. But definitely will buy it on DVD. Can't wait for Season 3 to come out!
Personally I think the "censoring" -- the blurred out body parts and the beeped curse words -- are all part of the humor. I just love it that Buster's "stump" is pixelized when he's not wearing his hand or hook!

Until Fox or Showtime themselves speak up, it is all still rumors.

We I guess I'm one of the few that already has Showtime, so it will be an easy switch if it pans out. I'm surprised thaere are not more premium channel subscribers on this board for shows like Bullshit and Curb. We get the package deal for all premiums, and it really does not add that much more per month (including HD DVR), for what you get.

the number 26 was the red flag for me. That's an abnormally large number for a major network, full season, show, let alone a smaller premium channel. Now if it said 2 year contract, 13 shows a season, I'd buy that.
I wouldnt be able to add Showtime, but I would just for this show.
I'd rather pay them directly to send me dvds ASAP.

Yeah. That was the deal.
ABC was offering Hurtz and Company one season consisting of 13 episodes with no budget constraints.
Showtime was offering Hurtz and Company two seasons consisting of 13 episodes each, but, there would be budget constraints.

Those who have "G.O.B." as a "friend" on Myspace may have received this bulleting today:

(link on network/channel goes to http://www.sho.com/ )
I'm guessing a bulletin just goes straight to someone's "friends" at the moment it is sent, and that it doesn't get posted anywhere...
Anyway, if you want to be his friend: http://www.myspace.com/GOB_Bluth

I keep arguing with friends who tell me that AD has already been picked up. I keep telling them that absolutely nothing is official yet. It's all just rumors, but they certainly are good signs that a deal is close.

I just read the news about Showtime Home Ent. being folded into CBS this summer, and all their titles being distributed by Paramount.
The whole merger thing is so confusing to me with the dozens of titles and companies, so does this affect AD in any way, either being picked up or the dvd rights?

I heard it on Wednesday on a radio station in Dallas. The reported it as truth. Showtime. 2 years, 26 eps.
I came straight to DVDTalk TV Talk and found nothing concrete.
So I wait....
