Larry David got robbed.

Looks like Reese is on her way to an Oscar. Probably Phillip Seymore Hoffman too. They've been winning pretty much across the board.

I didn't watch much if it, but how many winners said that "this award means the most because it's awarded by my peers! Thank you, ACTORS!"

I did catch a segment about TV commercial actors. It was funny the way they were talking about preparing for their craft. Uh, you're singing about a toilet bowl cleaner, you pompous ass.

Way ta go CRASH! IMO it's the best film of the year, but I haven't seen all the winter ones that are always frontrunners for the Academy. (Brokeback, Match Point, etc. Will catch those after Tuesday's announcement.)

Don't think CRASH has a chance at Oscar, but...it was cool ta see them get this.

It does put a dent in Brokeback Mountain's takeover. Crash is now the dark horse. Brokeback Mountain received 0 acting wins. And I doubt it will get any for the Oscar either. Most likely Picture, Director, Editing, Cinematography, Song and Score.

Crash is going to get several nominations tomorrow.

Crash deserved that awards, it had a massive cast and everyone performed incredibly well. It was more uniformly terrific than Brokeback or any other movie of '05 (in terms of acting). That said, I expect Philip Seymore Hoffman and Reese Witherspoon to be be winning Best Actor/Actress.. Supporting roles? Not so sure.
