"It's GRRRRRAAAPE... soda"
"Tony the Tiger"
"Yeah"
"You don't hear that much anymore"
"Not so much..."

Michael again demonstrating his lame sense of humour.

Also,

"What do you like best about Pam?" leading to

"She's easy to talk to, I guess... And uh, she's got a really good sense of humour."
"Really?"
"Mmhmm."
"She never get's any of my jokes."
Jim's glance at the camera...

As usual, I though the Jim/Pam interaction and storyline were great. Overall, an above average episode. Nice combination of laughs and touching moments.

Oh, and Pam's hair down...

Yup, and I think she REALLY wants to tell Jim she feels the same way, but she is torn. The looks are obvious.

Oh, and:

Michael-----"Hey Stanley, is that jacket made of updog?"
Stanley-----"I'm on the phone."

Michael-----"See the game last night?" (to his new bestest buddy, Jim )
Jim---------"Which game?"
Michael----"Any of 'em, uh."
Jim--------(glance at camera)

hahahahaha. This series should win the award for the most usable one-liners per episode-EVER!

Nah. Michael wants to be like Jim, but still wants to be with Ryan. He is going to own his own business one day.

I like the subtle things that they show during the dialog, like Meredith throwing away the empty liquor bottle during 'Spring Cleaning'.

Liking this show a lot. I guess my one complaint is Jim seems to glance at the camera too often and for too long a time. Sometimes this can work, but I think it'd be funnier in moderation. Tim could get away with it because he had it down to an artform. If you watch the nervous or frustrating glances Michael gives the camera you'll see how much superior his timing and subtleness are.

Yeah, the camera stares were too much last night. There haven't been nearly as many in past episodes. However, despite there being more instances of that in the last episode, the actual amount of time he looks at the camera seems to have been shortened. In one scene especially, Jim looks at the camera only to have the scene cut immediately to something else.

I don't mind the camera stares since they're filming a documentary and therefore aware of the cameras. Jim's not coming off as a cheesy *wink wink* to the audience to me like Michael does -- but more like saying ""What am I supposed to say here?/I don't know what to say" to the documentary makers.

What bugs me about the "documentary" is that Jim admits he likes Pam to the documentary makers, but then goes to great lengths to get Michael to keep quiet. What, Pam's not going to see this when it airs?

Yeah, that's the thing about the Office US. It's only good for comedic and cartoonish situations and most characters are just caricatures around simply for the show to make jokes. There's no character I can really attach to except for Pam, since she seems to just be an innocent by-stander in all this wackiness.

Maybe he plans to eventually do something about his feelings for her - sooner than the time that it will take these filmmakers to compile a 90-120 min. movie out of thousands of hours of footage.

We're supposed to be watching the documentary, but like every reality show, it typically airs after filming is mostly completed. In the UK series Christmas special they reference the series airing on the BBC.

Jim actually backpedelled when talking to the documentary crew. He says to them early in the episode "I had a crush on Pam," indicating that he's no longer smitten with her.

I really like the amount of passing glances and unspoken moments that Jim and Pam share. They are all very well done.

I never thought that this show would ever stand up to the original, but it definitely does.

Im pretty sure that Jim is doing damage control based upon whats most important at the moment...when talking to the crew IN THE PAST, Jim like EVERYONE ELSE assumed that Roy/Pam would never actually happen...now that the tapes show Jim had feelings, he'll cross that bridge when he comes to it, but the embarrasment of Pam finding out IN PERSON is here and NOW

Easily the 2nd best show on TV, behind Arrested Development.

Actually I think Michael already knows or at least has a suspicion. Remember the Halloween episode where Oscar was dressed as Dorothy?

Michael, "Finally showing your true colors I see."

I'll admit to not watching a lot of episodic tv since I was about 11 or 12 but IMO this is the greatest season a sitcom has ever had.

Man, I watched it again and realized Michael started to sing a few lines of "my lips are sealed" by the Bangles when Jim leaves his office!! Guess I didn't catch that the first time (volume was lower). Man this show is fantastic. I've got everyone watching it. It's got the stuff you can't put into words on a thread. You kinda have to "be there" and watch it. GRRRAAAAPPPPEEEEE!!

Hey, take it easy. You're acting like Al Pacino in "Raging Bull".
