But on top of that they're trying to make it out like Jillian isn't head and shoulders above the rest. They have to nerve to give her 8.4's while giving the other teams 8.1's. They're obviously rating on a curve which gives it the feel of being fixed.

Plus the whole American Idol angle for the judges.. You got Randy (crazy eyes), Paula (Dorothy who can't say anything mean), and Simon (the old prick who acts like these people who never skated before should actually know what they are doing).

At least they stuck with the same format for judging. A Simon, Paula, and Randy.
They way they advertised it I thought they were going to show more of the practicing and stuff, not as much competition.

Eisler, Swanson expecting a baby
LOS ANGELES (AP) - The winning couple from Skating With Celebrities are taking on a new challenge: parenthood.
Actress Kristy Swanson and Canadian Olympic skater Lloyd Eisler are expecting a baby on Valentine's Day, around mid-February, they announced Monday.
Swanson, 36, and Eisler, 43, met last summer on the Fox TV show. They won the competition and began dating in December, said their publicist, Cheryl Kagan.
It will be the first child for Swanson. Eisler has two sons, ages eight months and two years.
Swanson's film credits include Big Daddy, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Eisler won bronze medals in the pairs event at the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympics with skating partner Isabelle Brasseur.
