Were you folks aware of Jenna Fischer's blog over at TV Guide? http://www.tvguide.com/News/Insider/...mDate=01122006 Awesome.

Also, I didn't realize this but this week's brilliant episode was penned by the actress who plays Kelly. Amazing!

That was the very end of the episode. You didn't miss anything.

Loved how Angela (the uptight Christian chick) was 'prairie dogging' while Pam was on the phone with Jim.

And this part that she wrote was very interesting!

"This episode also marks a first for the show — Jim, Pam, Michael and Dwight all appear in a scene together. We've done group scenes before but this is the first time the four of us have been in a scene with just one another. We all laughed harder doing this simple scene of walking Dwight to the elevator than any other time in recent memory."

Edited to add this also:

"In other Officeland news, you might be excited to hear that our supporting cast members Angela, Brian, Oscar [Nunez], Phyllis, Stanley [aka Leslie David Baker] and Meredith were all made regulars starting in 2006. Go, cast!"

"You know, you and I... we're not so different. When I... clamped my foot down... on the George Foreman grill, I ..."

"You know what Michael. Let me stop you right there. And leave."

(And, I'm more in line with those who believe that the quality has been far superior this season to last season. Last season, I did not like the show at all, with the exception of the basketball episode, and to a slightly lesser extent the finale. This season, however, has been nothing but laughs for me, and it is now one of my favorite currently running shows.)

Good news! I assume "Brian" means Brian Baumgartner, who plays Kevin. But what about Kelly, Creed and Toby?

BTW, I didn't realize this, but the guy who plays Creed, the Office employee is named Creed Bratton, and he actually was the guitarist for the Grass Roots, just like Creed (the character) said on the Booze Cruise!

What confuses me the most is that the temp is permanent cast member.

ha ha, love the last one, that's supposed to be the last one taken in the episode, with Meredith taking her shirt off...

Just give them the Emmy already. That was pure genius.

Jim's continued use of the water bottle was killing me.

And Rainn Wilson was so damn good as Dwigt.

It was kinda sad when Pam was helping Dwight down the hall because it was obvious she was going to miss the "cool" Dwight.

I laugh often during this show, but never as hard as Jim's continued spraying of Dwight, and then Michael, with the water bottle. Hilarious.

Yeah, she and B.J. Novak are writers on the show. She also wrote "Hot Girl" and "The Dundies".

I agree with you that, with the exception of the pilot, The Office has been consistently funny since the beginning, but I also think that the show has really "let its hair down" this season. The first season, the show was more in-line with its British roots and the characters behaved with the overwhelming "don't embarrass yourself in public" mentality that the British have. This season, though, the show has allowed some outrageous behavior from characters, like Dwight's behavior in The Fire or in The Injury, and the show has really come into its own - it's no longer recognizably a remake of a British series, like it was during the first season.

I have to watch this episode again, since I thought that it was the least funny episode of the series so far. I think the key to the series is how unaware Michael is, not how big a jerk he is (and how others perceive him to be). To me, he was just a jerk in this episode with no redeeming qualities.

I am in the camp that the Office has been a great show since episode two.

It's nice to see that even though Kelly wrote this show, she didn't write herself a major part, as BJ Novak has done before.

So am I. I've liked it from the beginning, but this season they've raised the bar. Some classic episodes.

4) I think the asian guy from the Dharma film is the Korean guy’s
dad. Think about it. They’re BOTH asian.
