That was an instant classic

Whats your middle name?
Danger

What are you doing?
Making Vietnam noises

Where are we going?
Chuck-e-cheese
Chuck-e-cheease again!?
Mike, were going to the hospital.
I, know, Im just saying

Has anyone here had a real disability, not just a feminine problem?
When I was 4 I was in an Iron Lung.
How old ARE you?

RichardW 01-12-06 09:23 PM

This has to be one of the funniest episodes yet. I about spit out my food when Dwight ran into the pole. This is the one show that flies by too quickkly when you're watching it.

Patman 01-12-06 09:25 PM

Yeah, I couldn't believe it was time for E.R. to start. I was waiting for more Office.

Tommy Ceez 01-12-06 09:26 PM

Isnt it amazing that one of the main characters hits his head and vomits in a car accident, yet almost NO ONE in the audience realizes that he;s acting funny because of a concussion 5 minutes later?

I didnt get it until he called that guy DAD.

BTW, Pam sneak telling Dwights gf that he was OK was cool

nazz 01-12-06 09:54 PM

This was my favorite episode so far.

I had to back up the Tivo and watch the van part three times and laughed just as hard each time.

HE Pennypacker 01-12-06 09:59 PM

The beginning scene with Dwigt crashing his car and throwing up was unlike any scene so far in this program.

redrum 01-12-06 10:04 PM

awesome stuff.

Yeah, as soon as I saw that I knew this episode was going to be special.

"Hey Dwight, you forgot your bumper"

MrX 01-12-06 10:10 PM

"Is the skin red and swollen"

"That's what she said" I love how no one in the office laughs when Michael says it but the Doctor starts laughing when Dwight says it.

The spray bottle was great too

apchrist 01-12-06 10:31 PM

Excluding the vomit, I think the best part of this episode was when Michael went to the washroom and you could hear everything from behind the door especially the splash when he fell in.

Amel 01-12-06 10:42 PM

Definitely my favorite of the series. This one had me laughing like I do when I watch the original.

I love Stanley. He's my "Keith" for this version. Kevin has had a decent moment or two, mainly 'sweep the leg', but they're pushing him too hard to stand out like Keith did. Stanley's has been natural, just like Keith.

Nesbit 01-12-06 11:20 PM

Stanley is awesome. My favorite quote of his was when Jim asked him if he had a game he liked to play
"Yeah it's called work hard so I can send my kids to college."

Big Boy Laroux 01-12-06 11:23 PM

like someone said, i had completely forgotten that dwight crashed his car. what seemed like a throwaway gag was the backbone for the episode. just an amazing show all around.

"what's more serious, a head injury or a foot injury?"

Matt 01-12-06 11:32 PM

Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight

HistoryProf 01-13-06 12:03 AM

Dwight yacking on his car was one of the funniest things i've seen on tv in years.

Jadzia 01-13-06 12:12 AM

"What does my foot look like?"
"Mailboxes Etc."

Michael Corvin 01-13-06 12:23 AM

^ dead pan response too. Fucking hilarious episode. I don't think I've laughed out loud so much in a single episode of anything this year.

This was by far the funniest moment for me. The look of sheer panic in his face as he shook his head no was priceless.

Gizmo 01-13-06 12:50 AM

If I could have sex with this show I would. Simple as that.

Decker 01-13-06 12:55 AM

SO funny! I loved this one. There have been several episodes of this show that I sorta liked, but didn't really dig and felt like this board vastly overrated. This one was pure genius.

Reason for coming in : "To bring someone to the hospital"

spainlinx0 01-13-06 02:06 AM

I'm surprised no one picked up immediately that he was acting funny because of the car accident. As soon as he came into the office I knew they were going to play that angle. How could you not think he was acting different.

Other than that I could not possibly have laughed more at this episode. Just reading over the thread where people were talking about the jokes made me start laughing over again. Jim using the "cat spray" bottle was beyond hilarious. "That's what she said." was a funny enough callback, but when Dwight looked at the camera knowing it was funny just made it even better.

eatntae 01-13-06 02:19 AM

"Shotgun!

The rules of shotgun are very simple and very clear..."

Idiot.

Jackskeleton 01-13-06 02:46 AM

the easily overlooked greatest exchange was with Ryan about to eat his string cheese

"Wow, you just dive right in"

"yeah, at around age 12 I just decided to go for it"

The supporting cast doesn't get many of the great lines, but when they come around.... rotfl

scoot95 01-13-06 07:15 AM

I totally agree.......this was the best episode, and that is saying a lot as this is probably the funniest TV Series ever in my opinion. The scene that had me rolling was the very end with Michael hobbling over to the Cat Scan to get his foot in there. I laughed for like 5 minutes uncontrollably...my wife thought I was crazy.

I haven't laughed this much for one scene since "APE Tit" on the Jeopardy skit from Saturday Night Live a few years back.

Yea, I always enjoy when Michael explains to the camera very obvious and well-known concepts. Just like when he provided us with an explanation of "reverse psychology."
