The Office

Groucho 01-12-06 08:24 AM

According to my Tivo, that's a another sub-plot going on as well:
Spoiler:
Jim must pretend to be best friends with Michael to keep Michael from revealing that Jim likes Pam

Nesbit 01-12-06 08:46 AM

Knew that would come back to bite Jim in the ass.

Stu 17 01-12-06 12:54 PM

almost forgot it was on tonight

almost.

That's dumb. Women always know.

I read the show's plot somewhere else and that was mentioned to be in this episode, too.

Patman 01-12-06 08:33 PM

OMG! The opening bit with Dwigt was simply hilarious. Damn, that was some funny stuff.

Brian Gentz 01-12-06 08:33 PM

 using his Foreman grill in bed

Brain Stew 01-12-06 08:38 PM

"I have country crock!"

ChrisKnudsen 01-12-06 08:45 PM

Did Dwight just say, "Dad." What!!

ChrisKnudsen 01-12-06 08:56 PM

Oh he had a concussion, it makes sense now.

ChrisKnudsen 01-12-06 08:56 PM

Really funny episode.

Patman 01-12-06 08:57 PM

Just when you think they couldn't top the XMas episode, this episode has been cracking me up almost non-stop.

"I don't work in this van!"

Tracer Bullet 01-12-06 08:59 PM

"You can't fire me! I don't work in this van!"

Brian Gentz 01-12-06 08:59 PM

Michael sticking his foot in the Cat Scan...

Jim spraying them with water..

 classic episode.

Patman 01-12-06 09:01 PM

BTW, the "K" stands for "Koncussion" now. :D

DGibFen 01-12-06 09:02 PM

Biggest laugh of the night for me was when Michael said "Please don't send Dwight" right after Dwight crashed his car into a pole, threw up, then got back in the car and sped off.

That and wondering "did that affect him at all?", then realizing that something had affected Dwight - the same time that Jim figured it out. Priceless.

HE Pennypacker 01-12-06 09:02 PM

This was an utterly hilarious episode. It contained some of the greatest LOL moments in EITHER series, British or American.

Patman 01-12-06 09:04 PM

Loved it when Pan was saying goodbye to her 'friend' Dwight.

darkside 01-12-06 09:08 PM

My god the water bottle part in the van was unbelievable. Very good episode. Any episode that starts with Dwight vomiting on his car has amazing potential. Love that Pam's boyfriend bought her some cheap ass version of the iPod since she gave hers away. Also love how they keep pounding home the fact that Meredith is a drunk. The whole van ride was classic.

Timber 01-12-06 09:13 PM

Wow, that was the funniest episode yet.....although I think that everyweek.

JMLEWIS1 01-12-06 09:13 PM

hilarious episode...the look on the temps face throughout the episode was so funny....when Michael needed someone to help clean him up....omg

Timber 01-12-06 09:15 PM

"Bring a wet towel"

Tommy Ceez 01-12-06 09:21 PM

That was an instant classic

Whats your middle name?
Danger

What are you doing?
Making Vietnam noises

Where are we going?
Chuck-e-cheese
Chuck-e-cheease again!?
Mike, were going to the hospital.
I, know, Im just saying

Has anyone here had a real disability, not just a feminine problem?
When I was 4 I was in an Iron Lung.
How old ARE you?

RichardW 01-12-06 09:23 PM

This has to be one of the funniest episodes yet. I about spit out my food when Dwight ran into the pole. This is the one show that flies by too quickkly when you're watching it.

Patman 01-12-06 09:25 PM

Yeah, I couldn't believe it was time for E.R. to start. I was waiting for more Office.

Tommy Ceez 01-12-06 09:26 PM

Isnt it amazing that one of the main characters hits his head and vomits in a car accident, yet almost NO ONE in the audience realizes that he;s acting funny because of a concussion 5 minutes later?

I didnt get it until he called that guy DAD.

BTW, Pam sneak telling Dwights gf that he was OK was cool

nazz 01-12-06 09:54 PM

This was my favorite episode so far.

I had to back up the Tivo and watch the van part three times and laughed just as hard each time.

HE Pennypacker 01-12-06 09:59 PM

The beginning scene with Dwigt crashing his car and throwing up was unlike any scene so far in this program.

redrum 01-12-06 10:04 PM

awesome stuff.

Yeah, as soon as I saw that I knew this episode was going to be special.

"Hey Dwight, you forgot your bumper"

MrX 01-12-06 10:10 PM

"Is the skin red and swollen"

"That's what she said" I love how no one in the office laughs when Michael says it but the Doctor starts laughing when Dwight says it.

The spray bottle was great too

apchrist 01-12-06 10:31 PM

Excluding the vomit, I think the best part of this episode was when Michael went to the washroom and you could hear everything from behind the door especially the splash when he fell in.

Amel 01-12-06 10:42 PM

Definitely my favorite of the series. This one had me laughing like I do when I watch the original.

I love Stanley. He's my "Keith" for this version. Kevin has had a decent moment or two, mainly 'sweep the leg', but they're pushing him too hard to stand out like Keith did. Stanley's has been natural, just like Keith.

Nesbit 01-12-06 11:20 PM

Stanley is awesome. My favorite quote of his was when Jim asked him if he had a game he liked to play
"Yeah it's called work hard so I can send my kids to college."

Big Boy Laroux 01-12-06 11:23 PM

like someone said, i had completely forgotten that dwight crashed his car. what seemed like a throwaway gag was the backbone for the episode. just an amazing show all around.

"what's more serious, a head injury or a foot injury?"

Matt 01-12-06 11:32 PM

Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight Dwight

HistoryProf 01-13-06 12:03 AM

Dwight yacking on his car was one of the funniest things i've seen on tv in years.
