Now it just needs to cement some solid ratings.

So, is this being shown in Britain? I was reading over at www.RickyGervais.com and they definelty plug the show and Ricky often talks about how pleased he is with the way it turned out and how they stayed true to the original (no "stars" cast, love story) while completly making it it's own. Britain is/was Office crazy so I'm wondering if this would be shown due to the high level of interest, or not shown because it is sacred ground.
It would be nice if it was accepted. |
Another funny scene in this episode is Michael talking on the phone to his Mother, and it comes out that he's been telling her that Jan is his girlfriend, but she has been talking to Pam and knows that they aren't together.

Just got around to watching this one last night. Good lord... so many laugh out loud moments, especially from Dwight but just in general. Great to see Steve Carell win the best actor award too. |

I like the title. It underscores how the shows do illustrate in their own ways some of the differences between Americans and Brits. It's not just in the amped up wackiness on the American version. The way Jim and Pam flirt is more American than Tim and Dawn.
