Great episode; I'm so happy this is finally back. Some really chilling moments as Tigh hears about what happened to the civilian ships and the families on them, as well as the cross-cutting between the two assassination setups.

WOW! Great episode. Right now my anticipation for the next show is as high as it is for The Shield, Rescue Me and Lost.

I hope COL Tigh gets wind of Jack's mission and premptively takes his ass out. He deserves it for follow orders to kill and abandon civilians. Either that or he tells Tigh and turns over the Marines he brought over.

question about the preview for next week:

Spoiler:
who's holding the gun under someone's chin? who's that someone? The cut is too short for me to make the faces out.

Hey, has anyone tried to listen to the podcast while watching a copy of the episode downloaded from iTunes? It seems to be the cast that I can only have either the podcast or the episode playing in iTunes, but not both simultaneously. I suppose I would involve another program in the mix like WMP or Winamp. I would feel a lot better about watching a legally downloaded copy (especially for a mere $1.99) as opposed to getting a video file from other means.

Just managed to catch my DVR of this ep. This show fracking rocks!

I am so glad critics are recoginizing this for the great series it is and trying to let people know not to dismiss just because it is sci-fi. Next week can't come soon enough for me!

Wow! I wasn't really looking forward to a recycled original series storyline, but this is great stuff. Can't wait till Friday night, although this can't be all wrapped up in one more episode.

Spoiler:
I wonder how the fleet will function post-Cain? Will they integrate the Pegasus into the fleet, or will they send her back to look for the ships they abandoned/help out the resistence on Caprica. I could see Starbuck going back with them if they do.

I'm wondering if Starbuck isn't going to side with Cain against Adama. She seemed geniunely excited about Cain's proposal to go back to Caprica and fight the Cylons. Starbuck promised those people there that she would come back, but of course when she returned to the fleet Adama and the President wouldn't hear of it.

Considering Apollo never lost Boxey's mother early in the series, I'm not sure he needs the "rebound" anyway.

Great episode. I love how they intercut each commander giving nearly the exact same plan to their assassin. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Where is Boxey? Boomer rescued him in the miniseries and it appeared he was going to be on Galactaca, but they dropped him for the series.

I'm not sure many complain about that development.

Awesome ep. Damn it, I didn't realize it was a two-parter. Can't wait for Friday! I don't think Adama will end up getting shot, since we just went through that last season. It WOULD be cool if Tigh ends up taking that guy out first. It would help to redeem him a bit, since he's mostly the fracking drunk screw-up of the show.

I hope Cain ends up biting it, although my guess is that the Pegasus will end up getting destroyed, somehow. The show's called Battlestar Galactica. Battlestar Pegasus just sounds too girly.

I have never really liked the actress who plays Cain. Ever since I saw her on ST:TNG as Ensign Ro, I just associate her with roles/characters that I don't like. I didn't like her in 24 season 2 either. I'll be happy if she gets offed (uh, not in real life, I don't dislike her that much).

Just caught up on it on my DVR. Wow! I was very excited and had high expectations for this and it definitely did not let me down.

I was surprised to hear Adama apologize to Boomer though.

She does always play acerbic type characters. Even on Homicide she played someone tough cold character on there as well and if she had excepted the DS9 role would have again played Ro who was again the same type character.
