I guess it's becoming pretty obvious this isn't my kind of humor.

I would say if you go through season 4 and still don't like it then it isn't your type of humor. Season 4 won the Emmy for Best Comedy so if you don't think it's funny then you won't like the rest.

They discuss it in the "Inside Look" if I'm not mistaken. All about how they didn't have an ending they liked and were filming late, ready to go home and they get in the car and bamm! The perfect ending.

Jerry talks about again in an inside look for season 6. He thinks there were only 3 episodes with a perfect ending: The Parking Garage was one. The Finale: Part 2 with Teri Hatcher being another. My memory is fuzzy but I think the third was The Marine Biologist.

Clearly there's nothing original about that episode anyway. They did almost the exact same thing on Scrubs.

Spoiler:
I've never watched Scrubs, so don't both telling me I'm wrong.

Anyone here can help me?

I live abroad, and I would like to know what is the best-price website from which I can buy Seinfeld's dvd. The reason I mentioned that I live abroad, is that not all the websites offer international delivery (wallmart for example).

And another question - anyone know if Seinfeld dvd's have RCE ?? very important for me to know that before I purchase dvd from USA.

Thank's for any help !!

Seinfeld..number 1 TV series of all time !!

Almost any legit DVD you buy from the US will have RCE.

I think the question can be better answered if we knew where it's being shipped?

I've never seen Seinfeld and I don't think I've missed anything special.

I haven't read this thread, but I believe I haven't missed out on anything special. It is my distance from it that gives my opinion such a high level unbiased credibility.

I didn't read your post but I doubt it had anything interesting in it.

So I'm wondering, those folks on this thread who don't think that Seinfeld is all that funny, precisely what do you find brings the funny for you?

Chew I gather likes The Office, which is considerably more dry and subtle than Seinfeld. So I can at least kind of understand where he might be coming from. Anyone else want to testify as to what normally cracks them up?

Currently: The Office, Arrested Development, and Boston Legal.

Older: Frasier, Simpsons (but not over the last several seasons), and Futurama.

I started Seinfeld when there was nothing but repeats on and now my evenings are filled with watching new stuff. I don't have a lot of time to spend on my DVD changer filled with TV shows. I haven't been back to Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock Presents or Remington Steele in quite a while either.

I promise if I give up, it'll be posted.

I'm a little surprised anybody cared.

I looked up this thread yesterday to see if I had missed any updates. I was enjoying it.

I dunno. If someone doesn't find Seinfeld funny then I doubt we'd share much of a sense of humor -- which would make joke-telling awkward...

So yes... if you don't like Seinfeld, you can't be my friend! Did you hear that, Chew?
