They always have gone for the self references but besides the obvious ones, there is always easter eggs tossed in there. You really have to rewatched it a couple of times to get all of them.

I loved the "Will it be sort of unscripted like Curb?" line. Had to play that a few times, like I did many parts, in addition to having to pause for uncontrolled laughter. SUCH a genius comedy. It ain't easy bein' white...

Was Will Feral the voice for the "That's the thing that ate our cat!" Lline? It sounded like him.

I love this show. More people should love this show, too. Bastards.

The Iraqi toy store was great with nothing but tanks and other war toys.

Other than the fake arm guy, which they explained again to set up the joke, the little things you mention aren't pertinent to the story. Those are just bonuses thrown in for the fans. For example, a banana with a jetpack? Funny. A banana with a jetpack after seeing the jetpack in action before? hysterical.

Funny bits nobody's mentioned:

The exchange between Michael and GOB about the Colombians ("Oh, I forgot. We're being politically correct now?")
"But we are Guatamelans. Won't he know the difference?"
The painter's improv about the train sound effect.

I love this show now. I just started watching it last week. I bought seasons one and two when Amazon had them for around $30. I'm almost done with season one and find it one of the best written comedies ever. The fact that none of the show's actors were nominated for the recent Golden Globe announcements is just ridiculous! Four nominations for the Desperate Housewives actresses? Whatever.

I also loved how George Sr. joined the painters in laughing at Buster.

So does anybody else think that Job is dating Annhog?

A couple episodes Ann was talking about dating a real man.
Job was also talking about dating the 3 place girl which was Ann
Job is now dating a Christian chick that he wants to fuck.

Anybody?

Isn't her name Ann Veal? When did they start calling her Ann-hog? Oh wait is that from when they went down to Mexico - "Son, quit being such an Ann hog!"
