Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

Alison Brie's boyfriend was an actor named David Sullivan. They just broke up. She's hot and single again.

I had to Google her. She's definitely one of the things you mention.

I'm surprised though, she must have a great contract to get all the time off she has the past months.
In case anyone missed yesterday's San Diego Comic Con coverage, Olivia Munn reconfirmed herself live on television that she is not leaving Attack of the Show. She said in that public statement that her schedule and work commitments are tight but she will continue to stay with G4 and work alongside Kevin Pereira.

Probably under contract. She will be busy next year (and who knows if her show even makes it past 2-3 episodes).

Was the entire cast in the bar/restaurant or just her and Donald Glover?

Actually I got to meet Danny Pudi, Gillian Jacobs, Donald Glover, and Yvette Brown at an NBC party on Friday night. I was super bummed that Alison wasn't there, but we had to leave early so I figured she just wasn't there yet. (And I knew McHale had a couple stand-up shows that night.) Then Sunday we go grab lunch, get seated and a table away from us is Donald, Alison, and Joel. They were super awesome and completed my picture set for the con.

But seriously....we're totally doing it.

I'll get it back on topic though. Olivia Munn is an idiot.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

I never watched this show because I didn't get the Comcast tiered package that included G4, but now that it's included in the normal HD package on Comcast, I've been recording it, and I actually find myself watching this show more than some of the scripted TV shows I also record on the DVR.

Having missed most of the Munn years, how are you feeling about Michelle Nunes? She was a bit stiff in her early appearance, but she's loosened up quite a bit, I like her, she's got a zany quality about her.

Alison Haislip is a fave as well.

Chobot is cute, but kinda tall, meaty cheeks (of her face).

Not really feeling Sara Underwood (what was with her left eye in her latest appearance last week?).

Carrie Keagan is hit or miss for me, though her Power Girl skits are visually amusing at times. Not the best prompter reader.

Candace Bailey seems to have a hard time reading the prompter as well, but her tummy tricks keep me tuned in.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

I think Alison Haislip deserves the gig, she's put in her time the longest. Chobot gives some legit nerd cred (and she's also dating/living with Blair Herter). Sara Underwood should be kept to special assignments clad in spandex and bikinis, she's so fine... Carrie Keagan is kind of annoying, and is a one (err, two) trick pony with those tits. She also tries wayyy to hard. Candace Bailey is really cute, keep her for the Feed. Not a Nunes fan, think she's the weakest of all of them.

They need to cut ties with Munn... I mean, enoughs enough.

Kevin Pereira is the glue, you can put whomever you want there, but just don't lose him.

You would think, looking back and given what AOTS is now, that they could've just created a brand new show and kept Screensavers as is... I mean, that must have been one of their top shows at the merge, right?

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

I think the only shows they kept were TSS and X-play, so yeah, it must have been one of their top shows. AOTS really doesn't resemble TSS at all anymore.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

Everyone is guessing Munn is gone, here's Top 5 new AOTS co-hosts:
http://teamhellions.com/2010/10/11/t...aots-co-hosts/

I personally prefer Haislip or Tiffany Smith (for the very reasons that are mentioned in the above link). I think Nunes would also be a fine addition as well. I personally don't care for Carrie Keagan, she seems lost and indifferent at times while co-hosting.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

As a guy, I like looking at many different attractive women.
I hope they keep rotating the female host, and don't pick one to be permanent.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

I really like Chobot - out of all the girls, she seems to have the most "nerd cred" and has a fun, enthusiastic personality without being over the top and spazing out. But I don't think she's leaving IGN.

Nunes is very hot and good co-host/teleprompter reader.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

i agree that Chobot would bring tech savvy and an ease of material and is very nice to look at. she gets my vote.

the little blonde is hot, but couldn't host her way out of a paper bag.

Haslip is adept and well versed, but she just doesn't do anything for me, nor do i think she has the best chemistry with Kevin.

the tall one is very nice looking, but again no knowledge of the industry and i think that is important to know something and therefore be comfortable talking off the cuff and not just fixated on the cue cards that most of them seem to be doing.

Alison Brie still wins hands down, from me, being the most effervescent and breezy with the material and has strikingly vivid chemistry with Kevin. of course, with all she has got there is no chance.

Since Munn left to do two TV shows (Perfect Couples and part-time at Daily Show), I doubt Brie will be able to join as she's got two shows herself (Community and part-time at Mad Men), not to mention, her star's on the rise, much more so than Olivia's, and AOTS would be a major step back for her.

Re: Attack of the Show appreciation thread

I would be happy with Haislip, but I like Morgan Webb the most nowadays. She can be pretty funny (in a goofy way, like her Tiny Morgan bit) and she has better chemistry with Kevin than most of the other cohosts. She's also got real nerd cred and she seems more like "one of the guys" than some of the other options.

Candace Bailey sure is cute.
