This has been almost-happening for a while now. Hope it happens.

How did I miss this thread? Great news (and it's from a pretty reliable source). If this does happen, we probably won't see new episodes until 2007. That's that only thing that'll suck. I never knew there was a Futurama comic book. Does anyone know if it's any good?

I'm a sucker for shows that had a short run on TV. I usually end up buying them and enjoying them a great deal. The above are a few of the ones that would be on my list.

I agree that Fox just brings the axe down on shows way too soon but yet a show like The Simpsons, has lost a great deal of it's edge and just isn't what it used to be, is still on the air. The X-Files was my favorite show of all time and while I still watched and bought the last season....I do think they ran that show into the ground a bit as well.

Because even though the simpsons isn't as great as it used to be, it still gets good ratings.

I found this on a website about voice-over actors.

"Maurice LaMarche"
I never thought that a Canadian's voice could be so deep and evil. And Maurice LaMarche can do this so well. He help voiced the characters of The Brain from Pinky and The Brain and Destro from G.I Joe. LaMarche is currently working on a 2007 Futurama project.

I was really hoping this would come back as a feature series, but I'll definitely take 4 full length movies. Hopefully they can sustain the humor for 90 minutes.

I'd say that won't be a problem. I know on a few episode commentary tracks they talk about having to cut things out, sometimes alot, on certain episodes.

I'm glad we get movies, this means i dont have to watch FOX to see them.

Boosting 22 minutes to 80 is a lot different than aiming for 22 and hitting 28.

I'm assuming it was alot longer than 28 minutes from the way they talked in the commentaries.

I'm sure the "Anthology of interest" episodes alone could have filled up an hour.

That's cool about the new movies/episodes...but does anyone think they can hit the ground running after the two or three years it's been? Seems like it'd be tough to recapture...

Anyone think it'd be cool if they did em in 16:9 ratio?

It's good to see all the original cast is onboard for this also. I can't wait for 2007.
