PREACHIEST TV Show ?
Can be a current TV show or any TV show ever.
7th Heaven by it's nature is pretty preachy but i have found this series to be worse than usual.
And as much as i love Everybody Hates Chris, i'm finding that getting a bit preachy too.

I don't watch too many preachy shows. I've never seen 7th Heaven and a lot of those "feel good" touched by an angel type shows, but Boston Legal is definitely the preachiest show I watch. Sam Waterston on Law & Order is a close second. From the previews, I think these will be topped by the new Kyle McLachlan show In Justice

Designing Women. It cant go 10 minutes without a character breaking out into a long monologue about how to fix everything wrong in the world.

All in the Family is another show that is pretty preachy, at least at times. I love the hell out of it, but it's preachy.

I can't think of any other preachy shows that come to mind, then again, once I feel preached to, I probably quit watching it.

But does that change it from 'preaching' to 'having a message'?
To me those are similar, but the term 'preaching' has a more negative connotation. Nothing at all wrong with a show or movie having a message and expressing it in an entertaining way, but when it becomes heavyhanded, or 'holier-than-thou', it turns into preachiness, which is a negative. Of course, preaching in itself isn't a bad thing, so no offense intended to any actual preachers out there

Another vote for Boston Legal.

I'd have to go with the classic white-bread-Christian preachiness of such shows as 7th Heaven, Touched by an Angel and Highway to Heaven. Maybe throw in a little rustic charm with Dr. Quinn and Little House...
Was The Waltons ever actually preachy, or just relentlessly wholesome and earnest?
For nonfiction, I imagine Oprah and most issue-based talk shows are as preachy as ever.
