going to have to go with Boston Legal... Being it you know it's going to happen on some topic but can't ever really be sure when.. Then all of sudden someone breaks into some long winded blah blah blah of a political nature.. meh
7th Heaven is pretty bad too but in that show is at least honest about it.. Whole show is about a preacher and his family, not really a shock the theme they are going to cover or how they will cover them.
Unlike boston legal where it's just random issues..

I don't dispute that it's preachy, but The West Wing isn't nearly as preachy as it could be. Maybe it's just that it takes place in a politcal setting and the preachiness isn't as noticeable. I've always felt that they tried pretty hard to be reasonably fair about presenting the issues despite the fact that there is an obvious bias based on the administration's political affiliation.
As far as Sorkin shows go, I actually feel Sports Night was more preachy than The West Wing.

Stong Medicine - the girlfriend went through a phase of watching this show. In addition to the absolutely terrible dialog, it was incredibly preachy.
Law & Order: SVU has been getting somewhat preachy lately, as well.

Nobody's declared Survivor preachy yet? Especially this season, what with the "Liars suck" mentality and the "I can't believe she didn't give away her well-earned car to give US cars."

People like Judd and Jamie may be bitter, but at least they never pretended to be particularly pragmatic.

South Park by far. I shut the show off when it hits the formulaic "Trey Parker and Matt's Stone's how you should raise your children end of show moral lesson substitute for an actual plot preach-a-thon"

Yet another vote for Boston Legal and they have lost me because of it.
