I'm surprised there's a new episode tonight since none of my other shows have been on this week.

Is this the last ep they are airing before it goes on Garner's pregnancy hiatus?

Yeah, I think the season will resume on Feb 22.

Loved seeing Renee go all out on the second van.

I wouldn't have cared if the rest of the ep was full of test patterns as long as we were able to see SpyDaddy go medival on that old bastard. So glad they let him out of the office again.

What happened to the Jack that would shove a gun in a guys mouth and execute him in a parking garage when they threatened Sydney? Only cutting off an ear

I did - I'm just glad that they didn't make me wait until after the hiatus to confirm my suspicions.

It sucks that this is the last season because it's actually gotten much better. Then again, don't know how much the show could go on with Sydney becoming a mom. Oh well, I bet if the ratings were better, they'd go on without Garner if they thought they could make more money, but since it got to season 5, the syndication gig is in the bag, and the production company has less incentive to make more episodes (this is the same situation that's facing Smallville, too.)

When the happy couple was at the beach, I was expecting Vaughn to do Contact's "Hiya, sparks" then fade away.

Renee taking out the van seemed a little over the top since it was out in public and during the day. Then she even managed to bring in the guy for torture sessions.

Inall, it was still a nice episode.

Maybe they'll kill the baby off in some way and have Sydney go nuts and take everyone out.

Or, even better, on the last episode, she's on a plane and it crashes on the 'Lost' island.

Wasn't the mom a "good guy" last we saw her? I seem to remember her helping them fight the red ball, then kissing Jack and walking off into the sunset.

That was a great scene. I enjoyed last night's episode quite a bit -- too bad there's such a long wait until the next one.

Then she goes and mentions going to a deserted island...

So when is this show coming back? Dec. 1, 2006 can't be right.

I wish Renee had come on board a season or two ago. I'm surprised ABC didn't spoil the return of Lena Olin.

End of February or early in March, after Dancing with the Stars season 2 wraps up (either 8 or 9 weeks after it starts in the first week in January).

I'm glad there were no "guest starring Lena Olin" blurbs at the start of the episode.

I was a bit disappointed that Irina was against Sydney again instead of working with her and Jack. Torturing her daughter during her pregnancy?
She did save her Mom's life after all.
I wasnt overly impressed with the episode except for the big reveal because I hadn't heard anything about it.

I can't believe Sydney, of all people, asked for an epidural.



She can have her teeth yanked out, but doesn't think she can handle natural childbirth? Puh-lease. Just bad, out of character writing. The dialogue should have been something like this:

Doctor: And this is where you'd get your epidural...
Sydney: I'm going to try it without. I have an unusually, um, high tolerance for pain.

That just bugged me!

Complete shock on the reveal. to however they were able to keep the name out of the credits. I always thought there were some actor rules on that.

I think tv.com just put 12/01/06 because they didn't have a firm date on when it would be back from hiatus.

Maybe she doesn't want every experience of her adult life to be a painful one.

Maybe the scene is trying to tell us that the pain from having a baby is not even in the same league as the pain from having a tooth pulled?

That didn't bug me that much. I'm guessing Syd will handle pain if she HAS to (i.e. involuntary torture) but endure pain if you don't have to?
