Have the judges never watched a single episode of American Idol? Never tell a contestant you hate that they're "not good enough for this competition" or "should be going home tomorrow night". Too bad about Giselle, since she actually wanted to be on the show, but without a large fanbase, she probably would not have lasted too much longer anyway.

That's a pretty good theory.

I've read on other boards that many, many people are voting for their favorites who they think are the least safe, like Tia and George, instead of voting for the ones they assume are already getting the bulk of the votes like Drew and Stacy. So if P does indeed have a fairly large fan base voting solely for him, he's going to get a pretty big percentage of the total votes.

But, I don't care. Me likes Cheryl.

Well, I couldn't get through on Stacy's line on Thursday. Busy every time I tried.

Wish I could catch an entire episode this season. But man, Master P got 8 pts out of a possible 30. Judging by what I saw in the clip, that was generous.

I feel pretty bad for Ashley, it's gotta hurt her inside to have to be carrying this P-lunk around, but she's a professional, and she's persevering, so kudos to her.

Ashly was adorable as usual, but I am ready to see P go. I can't take his dancing or his post-dance album plug anymore.

My sister confessed to me today that she did vote for p miller for the first week just out of pure pity but now deeply regrets doing so. The judges are right about it being cruel about the people who keep voting for P Miller.

My favorites this week were George Hamilton, Tia, and Lisa.

I had to laugh at Bruno (Stacy's partner) when the camera zoomed up to him and he said, you thought i was stacy, didn't you?

Jerry did improve.

This was the worst week for P Miller. I would think that if he figured this was his last week, he would have made some effort. The judges were rightfully brutal on him, but I'd be careful if I were them. I'm not saying P Miller himself would put a hit on them, but I seriously believe he has friends who would.

I'm a Stacy fan, but holy shit Drew and Cheryl were amazing. They deserved the top spot. Giving Stacy an 8, though, was just stupid.

Only 20 hours?!? What an ass. It just makes me love Ashly more.

Just when I thought P couldn't do any worse he just stood there. That was his routine. Standing. Still.

Man, he sucked. Amazed that the clueless judge (Carrie Ann?) even gave him a 4. Felt bad for Ashly when they revealed the scores...Ashly mouthed an "Oh my, God," in horror. She is quite the trooper.

And 20 hours? Fucking jackass.

Stacy will be definitely be there until the final round so didn't bother voting for her.

on the other hand, got in a few votes for P, and then the line was tied up for a while. either ABC is trying to freeze him out or America really does love P!! The judges already did their part by lowballing P and giving Hamilton's lame "dance" 7's across the board---get real, he basically stood around too.

oh well, this should be interesting.

I had to laugh when Master P started pimping his new CD in the interview segment after the scores.

Like I've been saying since the 1st show, Stacy & Tony and Drew & Cheryl will be in the final 2.

I don't know which celebrity is better, they are both great.
I think they're dead even. But I think Drew has it harder because he has to lead.

Why are you voting for P?

Drew was really good last night, and to Stacy for showing more skin than last week. I wish Lisa was designing Stacy's outfits however. George was funny as always - I hope he stays around, he's got a flair for this competition.

How are the judges scores counted - is it a ranking system (where an '8' wouldn't be any different than a '15' if it's the lowest) or are the scores actually weighted?

I actually called in for once. Just for George and Jerry since I figure they are mostly likely threatened by the nutjobs voting for Master Pathetic.

I'm pretty sure it's ordinals, which with tie-breakers means that as long as you're not last with the public, you have a very good shot of returning.

And what's with the freakin' karaoke singers? This voice "talent" has been awful all season. It's like American Idol rejects are singing the background vocals during the dances. It's really distracting.

Instead of 50%, the viewer votes should be a '4th judge' with highest vote getter earning a 10, 2nd getting a 9...etc...tiebrakers should go to highest judges score

Yeah, at most, the viewers should count 25%. Or else, only give the viewers one vote - to knock someone out.
