Got to say I enjoyed seeing Beth win again. What I'm not enjoying is seeing Cara turn into whatever she's turning into. She was so cute during her initial season. She's still attractive now, but a little bit tacky around the edges IMO...

I thought it was a stupid gauntlet game pick by Derek, but it seems he knew what he was doing, being able to get lower etc.

I'm enjoying watching the veterans stink at every challenge for some reason.

Yea, I can't believe Derrick picked that challenge. It seemed like he was so dejected from losing that he just wanted to go home. What was even more unbelievable was that he won.

it appears the veterans finally win next week after looking at the previews... kina and cara go to the gauntlet....

His fall off that rope bronco thing looked a tad fake to me, though.

I realized last night that with 4 wins in a row, Alton wins the $1k prize as team captain. With the first win, that means he already has $5k in prize money!

He just wins that for the team, doesn't he?

Yeah, nevermind. He gets $1k gift cards as captain, so it's $5k. Still, not a bad haul for a few days of reality TV.

Derrick is a freaking beast...... would be cool to see alton and derrick square off

You only get that if your team wins and its a guys gauntlet. So, he's only won 3 I think (8 total matches, 4 per sex, and he's been in there twice, so he's won twice, plus the 1k he won when he became captain).

Also, wasn't this week for the GPS? so that means he's won 2k and a gps.

I think alton would beat him pretty easy, that dude is a freak. Who knows though.

The reason why Derrick picked the wrestling gauntlet was because he was a wrestler in high school and/or college.

I don't know if anyone of you saw that Road Rules series that featured Derrick, Jodi, Ibiz, Kina, and Danny (that pipsqueek guy who got eliminated by Alton in the Gauntlet early in the show) he mentioned that he used to wrestle. And he challenged that other guy who was on the show (not Danny, some other guy) to wrestle because the other guy used to be on the wrestling team, as well. Anyway, Derrick was slightly overpowered.

It was obvious to me he chose the beach brawl thing because that's the only thing he knew for sure he was good at. He should've picked the rope climb on the net, but Derrick can be a knucklehead sometimes and not think things through.

He got lucky because whereas Cyrus was almost twice his size, Derrick had some wrestling fundamentals and considerable arm strenght to outmatch Cyrus.

With that said -- and all the knucklehead comments aside -- I've been impressed with Derrick so far.

Got to say I got excited watching Kina last night. And I was a little saddened at Cara's mental decline, she needs help!

Beth Rules!!! I like Montana but I don't like how she hates Beth. to Beth for taking her out in the Gauntlet.

i wanted to see Cara and kina rip clothes off.... would have been awesome

There at the end, I got my hopes up for a little bit.

I did enjoy watching that Montana should have been more friendly with Beth, that's probably who she has the most in common with...
