I liked how Beth said she knew they would start with a twist because she's a veteran. Have they started with a twist before?
Jo was pretty funny tonight. I wonder if what she was saying is what was really bothering her or if she just knew that she was screwed by being a captain. It really sucks for the first captains. I wonder if any of them will make it to the end.

I love these challenges, and do like the new twist. I think it's a good way to have some risk against those who are winning the challenges for the prizes.
What's the deal with that one lesbian's hair? Man it's a scary sight.
Should be a good season, although it drives me nuts how 1 show doesn't consist of the challenge for captain, and the gauntlet part, and instead have to catch 2 weeks of episodes.

Half the cast has either never done the show before or done only one season, hence the team name rookies. Although it is a little odd to see somebody who's won a season on the rookies and to see somebody who was one of the first people to be eliminated on both seasons he was on to be on the veterans.

Even assuming the 15th challenge is the final, this in turn would mean 14 Gauntlets. Add the opening show, and a possible two-part finale, and you have a potential 31-week episode run of something that took two weeks to produce. Can this really run for over 7 months? Are we actually going to be watching the final episode in late June of 2006? Not to mention that less the copious commercials and re-hashing there is actually only 15 minutes of new content in each "30 minute" episode. Why oh why do I watch this?!

I know I'm not the only one who's waiting for them to release these challenges on DVD. I'm sure the contracts for all the wannabe celebs include no compensation for anything, so the cost would be negligible. The recap DVDs are always lame, it would be fun to watch all the past challenges. They could have a TON of outtakes and bonus features, too.

The season looks like it's off to a good start. We're only one episode in and everybody is getting shitfaced, having sex, and people are flipping the fuck out. This is reality tv trash at it's finest and I'm not ashamed to watch this every week.

Sadly, I already know that...

Last night's episode was a little bit of a letdown. The Jo thing sure was wrapped up fast. I wonder if the producers wouldn't escort her out or if she just didn't want to have anything to do with them? The 2 competitions were cool, but a little more boring than I was hoping for.

Fuck! What did I read that?
Because I thought it was a spoiler for the next episode. No biggie.
BUT IT'S THE SPOILER FOR THE ENTIRE SEASON.
Thanks a lot.
