what a great ep. the reunion of Bernard and Rose was everything it was supposed to be and then some. i even liked the Jin/Charlie reunion even though they took the two castaways that probably had the least contact with each other, but hey it still worked somehow. i am such a sucker for that kinda thing.
this show has a tendancy to run the spectrum of emotions, almost every episode, and i wouldn't want it any other way. |
i liked the reunions at the end.
but did anyone else feel like they were watching SWAT at the beginning? |

now, i think Ana and Jack might have a tryst which should make the whole Kate-Jack-Sawyer triangle very interesting. |
Did Jack and A-L only briefly meet prior to boarding the plane or was it more than that?
Jack had a disgusted look on his face and A-L looked gangsta as usual |
what an awesome ending .. call me soft, but I actually shed a tear .. I think it says something for any show/movie, when you can feel for the characters, and are happy for them to be reunited. I think the flashbacks with Sun and Jin only made that feeling stronger.
Well done. A nice way to bring the 2 groups together. |

My favorite moment in the episode was the first encounter between Eko and Locke. I can't wait to see what happens with those two. |

This was the best episode since the first couple we got at the beginning of the season.
Maggie Grace needs to practice "playing dead". The first time we saw her in this episode, I could clearly see her eyelids moving! Anyone got a screencap of that crossword puzzle Locke was doing? There's GOT to be a clue or two in there! |

I bet I said that to my wife 10 times during this episode. I'm way over that bitch. |
• Robertwoj • A-L was shot 4 times Real solid episode. Much better than last week. I was surprised that I actually "missed" Jack and Kate. It's only been a few weeks, but when they first appeared in the episode, I was struck with an "Oh yeah! I remember them." feeling. das |

No screencap, but here are the questions (Locke's Answers):
Down: 37 Belgian Port (Ghent) 38. Robbed (Ransacked) 40. WWII movie feature: hyph. wd. *off screen* 42. Enkidu's friend (Gilgamesh) 43. Less Brazen *off screen* I'm viewing in SD, so 40 & 43 might be on in HD. There are other answers visible. |

Yeah, Ana Lucia and Jack are pretty poor characters. I had to roll my eyes when you knew she was going to be some past acquaintance of hers. It's as if Jack is the Kevin Bacon of the Lost universe.
Now Eko is a great addition and I want to see more of him. I also like how Sayid resolved everything. He's my favourite character by far. |
Did anyone get the feeling that Locke and Eko were NOT surprised to see each other?
I'm not certain how much new info about the island was revealed, if anything. Basically, we got confirmation that AL is a trigger happy murderer. How redeeming. |

Looks like Eko and Locke are the Black and White that they kept pushing on us early in the show.
Locke - Driven by desire for the 'truth' Eko - Driven by morality |

Ah, the meeting of Eko and Locke. Perhaps more anticipated for me than the meeting of Bernard and Rose or Jack and SWAT. They did that scene real well, have to say I liked those two together, even if it was only a short period.
Good episode overall, nice to get back to the story and the main characters. This one generally had a good resolution. Couldn't possibly care less about SWAT and her backstory. I felt nothing when she shot the guy. |
Oh whoopti-fucking-do. Ana Lucia's backstory. Yes, we really need this because we haven't gotten enough of this bitch the past few weeks.
EDIT: I can't watch this shit. I'll just wait when I can fast forward thru all the scowling. |

Worst. Episode. Ever.
I have no interest in Anna Lucia's backstory in the least. It has added nothing to the show and has taken time that could've been used to further establish other characters. Michelle Rodriguez' tough chick bullshit got old right after Girlfight. I did enjoy the reunion montage, especially Michael & Vince running across the sand into each other's arms in slo-mo. |
