Yes, yes - exactly!

I will say that I'm starting to really not like the recycled storylines (ESPECIALLY the Marissa being unfaithful angle). Maybe things will be different in The O.C. - the College Years.
And again, nailed it. I also miss that the show would almost always begin with with some sort of witty quip - and when I say begin, I mean right before they went into the opening credits. There was always that little joke that made you laugh - where did that go, dammit.

This year - and I'm not sure exactly how I want to say this, as I can't quite decide what it is - but it seemed as if the PTB (powers that be) were taking themselves to serious. That, or they just lost sight of all the things that make the show what it was. Like they were using a recipe, but forgot some of the ingredients, and because of it the flavor is off.

Anyway, also wanted to add that I didn't think anyone was finger pointing at me, so no offense taken.

Yes, yes. Where is Breakfast with the Cohens with that cheesy music in the background?

Like Seth and Summer were discussing during the ep...it wouldnt be Ryan and Marissa if they werent breaking up every few weeks. Thats what the show seems to always revert back to...almost Dawson's Creek-esque with all the break-ups and getting back together. Lets see some more of Seth and his comics and anime, at least its something different than Ryan fighting!

So what are we suuposed to infer from the last scene with Ryan and the heavy bag?

Kinda takes away from the Seth jokes about Ryan always punching people.

Oh God no! The comic book storyline last year was dreadful. The Seth/Zach rivalry that culminated in a horrific cameo by George Lucas was so pathetic, it's been referenced maybe once this season.

Keep Ryan fighting. I really miss the "episode punch count" of Season 1.

I kind of like Taylor... she's evil and pathetic at the same time.
Maybe this would be a good hook-up for Taylor. We know she likes older guys.
