Anyone Remember Homefront?

A friend of mine gets the Goodlife Channel (I think it may now be called something else.) and they run the old ABC show, Homefront. She made me DVD's and I have to say.. I've been loving it!
What a great, great show!
It takes place right after WWll. It has a great cast: the very underrated John Slattery and the ever so adorable Kyle Chandler, and Tammy Lauren is outstanding.
If anyone gets this station, I highly recommend this show.

I loved this show!

I even wrote a paper about it my senior in college (Analyzing Television course).

I wish DirecTV carried the Goodlife channel or better yet, I wish the series was on DVD. I have't seen the show in about ten years. I remember a few years back catching the very end of a weekend marathon on some channel and I was so bummed I missed it.

Loved it back in the day, and still remember it, and miss it. I will definitely look for these showings--though I wonder if I'd enjoy them as much now?

I miss 'Remember WENN' too. Maybe what we need is another good 1940s-era series.

Are you talking about George Eads? No, but I can see where you think he was..he looks alot like Kyle Chandler.

Upper right hand corner.. played by Kelly Rutherford
Linda Metcalf, played by Jessica Steen... lower right hand corner.. was also a looker.
Kelly is currently on E-Ring and Jessica is on Killer Instinct w/ orange hair. She's almost unrecognizable.

You know, that's funny because until I saw that picture I had no idea or memory that Kelly Rutehrford was in Homefront. I had a girl crush on her in Melrose Place.

Also, I actually watch E-Ring and Killer Instinct. I thought I was the only one here who watched those shows.

Have they ever explained Jessica's Steen's hair on that show? Seems like an odd choice for a coroner.

Kelly played Judy Owen.. she came on half way thru the first season. She had a "little" crush on Jeff Metcalf.

I don't watch E-Ring.. I just heard Kelly was on there.

As for why Jessica's hair is orange? I have no idea. I have about 2 episodes I haven't watched yet.. although something tells me that they won't bring it up. All I know is that it's very unLinda and unJessica.
I also remember Jessica in the late 80's show, Wiseguy. I think she was in the pilot.

What part of the first post's "It takes place right after WWll" didn't you understand?

I, too, loved this show. I have it on video taped off of the TV Land marathon a few years ago. I assume music rights are holding it back from DVD?

That, and the Major League Baseball crap.
I read somewhere that it cost the producers a small fortune to feature the
Cleveland Indians. They were kinda sorry they ever started it.
I did my part by voting for it on that tvdvd.com site. I'm not holding my breath.
