If it weren't bad enough that my NBC affiate cut in on My Name Is Earl for election results, they just cut in on The Office with a recap. Unlike MNIE, I know of no place The Office gets rerun these days.

GRRRR.

redrum 11-08-05 08:53 PM

this show is too much.

Flay 11-08-05 08:59 PM

OMG, the look on Dwight's face after Jan saw him was priceless.

Absolute gold.

Hilarious episode...

MrX 11-08-05 10:37 PM

Dwight's reaction to the him being in Michael's screenplay was great.

Liked the look Michael and Jim gave each other at the end.

Derrich 11-08-05 10:48 PM

Second ep in a row that Jim went a little too far with Pam.

I like that they showed why Micheal is such a good salesman. Hell, he even closed the deal with Jan.

I had no idea where this episode was going, but once Michael and Jan got to Chili's and the office gang did the table read, I about lost it, just funny funny stuff. Dwigt's reaction to Jan coming back to the parking lot in a cab was great.

Shilex 11-08-05 11:08 PM

Chili's sure is getting a lot of exposure. Awesome blossom! Extra awesome...

Patman 11-08-05 11:14 PM

When Michael and the Tim Meadows characters break into the Chili's song, I was laughing and clapping at that bit.

Shilex 11-08-05 11:19 PM

Who was that dancing with Dwight around the fireworks? It looked like BJ Novak's character, but he's usually so uptight.

Pretty sure that was Kevin, when I took a close look at it.

So many great moments. Dwight keeps getting the shaft, first with figuring out Jan and Michael, then with the movie script, and its always hilarious. I kind of hope they keep up the idea of Michael going after Jan and getting shut down each time.

Have to say I was fully expecting Tim Meadows to do the "barbecue sauce" part of the Chili's song.

And Jim listens to Travis. Kickass.

"Chilis is the new golf course."

boogieman03 11-08-05 11:40 PM

Really funny episode.
I thought Tim Meadows was great.

dcswirl 11-09-05 12:22 AM

Are they still replaying these on Bravo? I forgot to set my VCR.

Ovid 11-09-05 12:49 AM

Wow...as great as it became in regards to our objections about the humanity of Michael....it has killed itself tonight with the absolute A-hole'ness of the 'Tim and Dawn' humanity. I just can't believe how horrible Jim and Pam would stoop in what they did with the script they 'found'. It is so so sad and reminds me so much of Neil from the original, who, on the surface was great, yet actually was a bully.

Yes, I am overreacting...but I just cannot belive the basement morality they justify. Who is the A-hole whom is writing Jim and Pam?

Derrich 11-09-05 05:54 AM

Considering that Micheal made everyone stay late until he returned(And he never did), I'd say they were justified.

I wasn't too impressed with this one. Pretty average. The Jim/Pam stuff was top notch as usual. They have great chemistry.

Big Dave 11-09-05 07:59 AM

What was the name of the sidekick in the script that was supposed to be Dwight?

ytrez 11-09-05 08:03 AM

We got to see what Michael does well. His success as a salesman must be what got him promoted to management. Only problem is he has no clue on how to be a manager.

I didn't find the Jim/Pam script reading too much or too mean for their characters.

"My uncle bought me some fireworks and if anyone wants to see a real show, meet me across the street". I love it.

Toben 11-09-05 08:31 AM

I'm changing my answer from before. I'd do Jan :p

RichardW 11-09-05 08:45 AM

Another great episode.

Cusm 11-09-05 08:55 AM

Why was Dwight sleeping at the office?
