I think it's pretty safe to say we all knew what was going to happen there at the end, but even so, it was a good episode.

Ew, how many more layers are we going to see w/ our goofy little sub-plot outside the prison walls? Was happy to see that one shit get his finger broken - that was funny.

Glad that they finally made the dope dealer part of the circle - it was bound to happen, so why put it off any longer. I wish that they kill off a few of these schmucks - but the more idiots that break out the more different stories that they can tell afterwards.

They only have like two weeks or so to make their escape at this point though.

There's less than a month to the execution so it doesn't matter if they're off work duty in a month.

Pretty good episode though you could see most of it coming. I did like the one agent getting his hand broken.

If you didn't want the others breaking out with you, couldn't they simply "forget" to tell them the night they are leaving?

So what did the girl Michael called do? Just notify the Thunder Bay police?

Yes she is, her music is pretty good too. Her name is Holly Valance and I was surprised to see her on the show. I quess she has no plans to go back to her music at the moment. Last I heard was that she was going to have a small part in National Lampoons Pledge This. Australian women are fucking hot. She got famous by being in a huge soap over there called Neighbours. It's where Kylie Minogue and Natalie Imbruglia became huge as well. A girl they are exporting over here named Delta Goodrem also was in that soap. She's a sight as well and her music is good as well, adult pop stuff.

That's Michael's wife?

For some reason, I forgot what I was going to say about this episode.

That's who I was thinking of. They showed him so little, I couldn't get a lock on it.

He sure had a small part.

He definitely resembled him, but it was just some two-bit actor.

I'm sure I'll be in the minority on this once again, but I'm finding it harder to get through the episodes. It's bad enough they keep trying these lame fake-outs (like we really wouldn't figure out Abruzzi and Michael were working together or that the VP's helper guy wasn't the bumbling nice guy they introduced him as), but the stuff outside the prison is just stupid, and they're adding more? I wish they'd just tell a fun story of a prison break instead of all these 24-ish shenanigans. I see now, though, that's never going to happen.

I hate the SS story line. I was hoping the helper guy was going to off the 2 SS guys since the job was done and this was the last of the loose ends.

das: Like you say, it's the same thing with 24. They add more and more things to the storyline when you really just want to focus on the main plot. But, when you have such a seriously narrow story (breaking out of prison), is that even possible? Fill an hour, fill a season, fill a series. That's a lot of time devoted to just breaking out of prison. I'm sure the argument will be "haven't they broken out yet??" if that was the sole focus.

I have no doubt once the actual break-out occurs, everything outside the prison will be completely integrated with the "main" plot. They have to set things up for that now and not just spring it. Is that going to make any of it any better? Probably not.
