I found an interesting theory on the Myspace AD group regarding Rita (copied and pasted, since I didn't come up with it):

I'm pretty sure Rita will indeed be found out to be a man, and perhaps the retard thing was a cover to make surethe government found out she was a spy (she fooled the FBI into thinking MR F stood for Mentally Retarded Female, but that doesn't mean she isn't REALLY a MR F (perhaps Mr. Female, meaning she's transgender)

Some clues:

-The bathroom thing everyone noticed

-The title of Episode 1 on Monday was "Notapusy" Yes, it was a play on "Octapussy" and yes, on the surface it's in reference to Michael trying to prove to Rita he's "not a pussy."However, it COULD be a reference to Rita's genitals as well.

- The episode GOB was referring to all of Michael's women as "dog people" Michael talked about finding a woman, and GOB replied "yeah, as far as you know." This was meant to mean GOB was referring to Rita being a dog, but it also might be foreshadowing.


- She emphatically proclaimed she's a woman to her uncle in the scene where she threw stuff on the ground and yelled at him. That's an odd proclamation to make.

- Mr. F

-Arrested likes to sometimes have references to their guest stars' work. When Julia Louise Dreyfus was on, they referenced Seinfeld a couple times ("she's a major blond who majored in marine biology if you know what I mean") Charlize Theron, though not as bad as Hialry Swank, likes to certainly pick manly, or at least ugly, roles in her films lately.

-Even though Michael had sex with most of his former girlfriends early on in the relationship, as far as we know, they have never been intimate.

-For what it's wroth, I decided to Google "Rita transgender" just to see if the name Rita has any meaning, and there is a famous transgender person named Rita Hester who was murdered in a hate crime long ago. Well, that might be a stretch, but she did appear dead in the episode where she was in the cabin.


Well, since Monday is her last episode, I guess we'll find out then, but I just want to say I told you so if she turns out to be a he.

Some of it sounds like a stretch but I'd say 50-50 for me. Definitely interesting. The mentally handicapped bit was quite telegraphed compared to the usual AD style. This new theory seems more like AD to me.

Maybe Rita will turn up dead next week. We were left with them in love and wanting to get married, and next one is her last? That is a short amount of time to end their relationship. I can see her going out with a bang.

Actually it was Jack the Ripper.

Anyways, I still can't stop laughing at the line "when I miss your lips, I put this *** in my mouth and think of you."

Today, that line rotates with Buster saying, "She's a spy!", and "That's a show ABOUT a spy!" I think it's his delivery that gets me.

Yeah, I'd say it's a bit of a stretch as well (at least, some of the "clues" are), but I like it a bit better because something about the whole mentally handicapped angle doesn't really sit well with me. Like, it's something I feel isn't really funny.

But like I said, I didn't actually come up with the theory, but it certainly is a bit clever.

Alright, I finally got a chance to watch these episodes last night. Regarding the mole, no wait for it....

Was that Annyong in the wall, or was that someone talking to Annyong (it looked like a subtitle).

Also, who's Annyong?

I've never seen the first season and only most of the 2nd season.

it was annyong. The subtitle joke was that when he said "Annyong?" out loud, the subtitles showed "Hello?" Then he says "Hello?" out loud, and the subtitles say "Annyong?"

Annyong was an adopted korean boy (adopted by Lucille). He kept saying "Annyong" to everyone, which means "Hello" in korean. They thought it was his name. So they say "Annyong" to call him, and he replies with "Annyong". funy stuff.

Anybody read what the review for "Love, Indubitably" said?

The last part was:

I'm not 100% sure but when I watched this the second time I realised that the Brittish Soldier in Love Indoubitally is played by Tony Hale, with a fake chin (much like the fake nose from the Inner Beauty pagent). As I said I'm not certain, can anyone verify?

I thought it was him too (and was pretty sure). I thought it was an odd call to use him for it, but worked well anyway.
