It's a voracious insect attack! Someone call Lucy Lawless!
So Shannen Doherty is a supersmart truck driver(with a nice butt tattoo)?

First terrorists and then death by the Statue of Liberty's torch. It just doesnt get any better than that. Xena is gonna have to ramp it up 5 or 6 notches in her next flick to even come close to the perfection of Cat 7.

I dunno. The movie's credibility was shot when they put that "poison dart frog" sign all over the African pixie frog tank. It really sucks to know my amphibian and reptile species sometimes.
Plus all those frogs in captivity would not be toxic enough to do more than taste bad if you suck on them.
Of course that dude foaming at the mouth after coming into contact with the dart frog was almost worth the price of admission.
Besides, you can't have an end of the world movie without a plague of White's Dumpy Tree Frogs, some of the most harmless critters on the planet.

Still, BEST white trash trailer park set in a tv movie, ever!! Torn as to what the best part was, huge mullet guy in the trailer with hub caps.. or guy in overalls looking to "save" his pink flamingos while Randy Quaid screams "No just leave them!! Just leave them!!"

I was hoping to see someone bring up the frog scene. My fiance and I were running with that for another 30 minutes. I could just picture the head of security telling everyone to not panic and then reach deep down to stop this violent attack of frogs with a cup turned over and turn to the camera and say "threat nuetralized". Choke on that Clancey!!!

The funniest part of the movie was the guy pouncing on the Red Legged Tree Frog with an upturned glass, as if it was some horrible biohazard that could kill him instantly if he touched it.

We've had a plague of locusts and a plague of frogs. I'm assuming we'll get to see the first borns all die (or get threatened) tonight.
When's the water going to turn to blood? When do all the people break out in festering bubos? I'm also pretty sure there's supposed to be a pillar of fire in there somewhere, or was that the Eiffel Tower in the first storm?

I think they spent all of the effects budget in the first 10 minutes.
So let me get this straight. HUGE storm coming from the north, HUGE hurricane coming from the south, but FEMA never gave the evacuation order for DC? Brownie, you're doing a hell of a job.

Well, to be fair the last time an evac order was given, a bunch of people stayed behind anyway.
Besides, who in their right mind would want to save any of the politicians in DC?

OMG. Did I just see a Swoosie Kurtz make-out scene? Please tell me that didn't happen.
Why dont all FEMA directors come to work in tight pants and low cut tops?
The guys that did the airplane CGI deserve a raise.
I just noticed that all of the major players don't have any problem driving from location to location in the middle of this storm. Those aquatread tires must be the real deal.
OMG part 2. Huge storm. Jeeps are being blown down the street. But when the hero gets to his girlfriend, he tells her to drive to a shelter....in her Convertible Mini Cooper! I say she gets a half a block before that thing is 50 feet in the air.
Why does the camera guy keep playing with the zoom and focus buttons? It's like watching a short film by a 9 year old. I counted no less than 5 instances of superflous slow motion shots in the last 10 minutes.
