I thought this was another great episode. If this doesn't last I'll be seriously bummed. Great work from the cast, great lines, great detail on the restaurant world, both on specifics and on philosophy. Just all around great.

Which would be typical, as the wife and I caught this for the first time last night and thought it was hilarious. :(

It's one of those shows like A.D. that is too funny for the Masses.

Also, I liked the pseudo reference to the great John Laroquette Show, with John trying to get Jack to start drinking again. Plus, I expect the agony of a recovering alcoholic contemplating a drink from Rescue Me, but I was very impressed with the way Cooper and the writers handled it in such a tiny moment on KC. I think this is a far smarter and more intricate show than its detractors realize. If it goes it'll really be a shame. Maybe they can replace it was a Friends rip-off or a reality show.

Good episode plus it had an appearance by John Larroquette. :up:


I was wondering the same thing.

After a couple of episodes, this show just ain't doing it for me. With the ratings the way it is, I doubt that it will be around much longer.

I'd love to see John Cho on the show though.

Then the answer is yes, the show is a semi-hit and doing fine in the ratings.

I saw AH on some alte night show last week and they were talking as if the show were a semi-hit. Were they BSing?
