I liked that too. It was a good way of fleshing out the Mother character who has really only shown one side of her character up to this point.

The scenes with Matt beating up the Tranny were brutal. Hope he goes to prison with his friend.

I was surprised to see they made Matt into such a hateable character. Next week looks really intense as well and a lot less gay.

I just don't think it will be a recently introduced character (granted, Dr. Costa was introduced last season). It could very well be a character we haven't seen since S1.

Costa was practicing in Atlanta last season so it would be quite a commute to be the Carver. And the Detective was called in from somewhere else in the country if I'm not mistaken so I think that would be a little difficult as well.

I actually think that works in his favor. Atlanta to Miami is probably an hour worth of plane trip. A smart guy like him isn't going to crap where he eats, at least until he gets too obsessed with a couple of colleagues.

If the Carver is a woman, she's a surfboard. Also, she'd have to have a strap-on, since the Carver rapes his/her victims. And if it were a strap-on, there'd be no reason to use a condom, which the victims said he used. So I'm willing to bet it's a man. Could be the new doctor, but I'm hoping it's some random minor character we haven't seen in a long time.

That's what I'm expecting - hence my S1 comment before.

I would think that if the guy is making these plane trips frequently that you could easily match the pattern of flights to when the murders occurred. Seems like too much of a paper trail.

If it's Bobbolit, it would be simultaneously brilliant and awful. Brilliant because everyone has taken him for dead, but awful because he's a bit too much of a catch-all bad guy.

There's no reason to think that. He made two cuts and then passed out.

I've thought it was merril ever since the Carver's tagline. Beauty is a curse on the world. That was merril's thing. he said to Christain - "the only thing that separates you and me is that mug of yours". Always thought that was intentional.

But at the same time, the only Carver victim not to get raped and to not get cut as bad as the rest was Sean, which still makes him a possbility in my book (especially since he sees weird shit all the time).

If he isn't dead, why wouldn't he be in jail for his actions?
