I didn't think it was that bad - does anyone else think that Alex looks good?

So the question is: who's hotter, Andrea Anders (Alex) or Ashley Scott (original, unaired pilot character)?
Andrea Anders:

Ashley Scott:

...Oh yeah... and the answer is... uhmm, what was the question again?

Some good bits, but still a lot of holes in this sitcom. Alex did look great in the opening scene, definitely been at the gym, her arms are cut! And the new hairstyle, did that just happen while she was doing Joey?? Nunez, eh...didnt do much for me, but could be a funny addition to the cast. Definitely need to cut back on the Michael stuff, its getting old really quick. And tone down Drea as well. They could improve this a lot, just wonder if they will get a chance after this season.

I doubt this will get canceled no matter how low the ratings get. The potential this show has just because of its parent show is something that the network won't be willing to give up. So they will get the chance to improve.

I always thought Ashley Scott was hotter, but I think Andrea Anders fits better with the cast. Andrea certainly looked a lot better in the premiere than she did most of last season. I don't really know how I felt about the premiere, there was some good material but it wasn't that great for me. I love Joey's character and I think the show has some great potential, so I will continue to watch, but the writers really need to find some way to not repeat the same few jokes over and over and over again.

so, are they going to do a reverse ross-rachel friends thing?
alex likes joey, joey doesn't know
alex meets someone else, joey figures out that alex likes her, but joey can't have alex anymore

This show is close to getting the delete season pass command. I watched about five minutes and had more than enough of the annoying kid. Why in the hell do sitcom writers think mean, annoying, bratty kids are funny?

Ok jsut watched and yeah, that kid was the most annoying thing I'd ever seen. Didn't like him on the show with that SNL guy either. Hopefully we dont have many joey shooting this movie episodes. I did like the AD.

When good or at least okay shows go bad
This show has taken a turn for the worse! Last season actually seemed to get better with each episode as if the writers were hitting their stride.
Now this retooling has made it seem like they are starting all over again.
This seemed to finally be going somewhere with the Joey character moving into a real long term relationship and actually growing beyond his one-note Friends character. Now they have him unrealistically hook up with the smart neighbor just to create tension and lose any shred of growth by dumbing down the jokes so they are 'broader'. Who is the moron responsible for ruining this show???
The new black guy seems forced as if he's just there to please a certain demographic that probably isn't even watching this show in the first place.
Gina working for Bobby is a fun idea since those two often have the best exchanges but they are already pushing the plausibility factor with 'Joey' becoming an action hero movie star.
And what is up with Michaels hair? Who told him that perm looked good, unless that is just his natural look in which case...yikes
