The Amazing Race Season 6 on GSN discussion thread

I can't post the CBS website pics of the teams because it gives away how they finished (or didn't finish).

The 2 hour premiere is on tonight, check your recording device if it hasn't already updated!

I guess nobody else is re-watching the latter seasons they've seen already?

I could never understand why anybody picked "counting" over "building" in Ikea.

And, 8 hours of hay rolling?

Ahhh... the wonderful TAR season that introduced us to a worthless human known as Jonathon.

And the comedic humor of mama's boy and his "girlfriend"

TAR6 was the first season of TAR I ever saw, so I haven't been watching the GSN repeats. I did catch the pilot though, so I could again see the beautiful scenery of Iceland. I have been obsessed with going to Iceland ever since I first saw this show.

I can't believe it's been a year since this season first aired. Brings back lots of memories of my son as a newborn.

With all the new fall premieres, I'm a day behind.

The last one I watched was the Gate episode where Jonathan has his explosion. This more than anything gives him is well-deserved nickname.

Jonathan is such an ass. I cant beleive he pushed his gf (or wife I cant remember what she is) like that. That was really abusiive. I was so happy to see that cabbie in germany kick him out of his cab. I would really like to see Bolo beat the hell out of him.

Once again, I'm an episode behind. Saturday's episode where we finally see the end of Jonathan is certainly one of my favorites (strictly for the end result).

Nice to see GSN is skipping AR repeats on Tuesdays.

With the Season 7 boxset coming out in December and the new fall season taking up so much time, I'm seriously considering having the 6th season finale tonight be my last GSN repeat. Anybody else?

Agreed. I am so backed up on this show it's not funny. I have all of Season 5 on my DVD Recorder hard drive and all of Season 6 on my DTivo. There is just not enough hours in the day

Yup, I am. I've got season 7 on preorder at Amazon already, and I bought season 1 today. I've now got seasons 2-6 recorded on DVD, so I'm good to go until they release more. So, I think tonight will be my last night watching the reruns. Besides, season 7 is still pretty fresh in my mind, and I can wait until December to see it again.

Sure am glad GSN showed all these seasons over the summer.

Does anyone know if GSN is going to rerun them again or if the deal was only for one round of reruns...

I missed recording one episode of all the seasons. Damn you Comcast and your sucky DVR!!!! There really IS a reason to use Tivo...
